As December rolled in, a chill filled the air, transforming the landscape into a winter wonderland. Snowflakes danced gracefully from the sky, blanketing the world outside in a pristine layer of white. Inside Jin's home, however, the atmosphere was anything but cold. The warmth of the season enveloped them as they prepared for Christmas, a celebration that promised joy, laughter, and cherished moments.

Mia and Jiwoon had taken it upon themselves to decorate the house, a task they approached with gleeful enthusiasm. As soon as they finished breakfast, they set to work, bringing out boxes filled with decorations that sparkled with the magic of the holidays. Jin, on the other hand, found himself assigned the less glamorous duty of cleaning up after their enthusiastic efforts.

“Daddy, can you pass me the garland?” Jiwoon called, standing on a small stool to reach the top of the bookshelf. His little hands grasped the edges of the shelf as he stretched to place the shimmering greenery.

“Of course, little elf!” Jin chuckled, holding up the garland with a playful grin. “But only if you promise to use it wisely!”

“I will! I’ll make it look amazing!” Jiwoon exclaimed, his excitement palpable. Mia watched the two of them, a warm smile gracing her face as she took in the sight of her two favorite boys working together.

As Jin helped Jiwoon hang the garland, he couldn’t resist a little playful teasing. “You know, Jiwoon, if you keep decorating like that, you might just earn yourself a spot on Santa’s nice list!” he said, winking at Mia.

“Daddy, I’m already on the nice list!” Jiwoon replied, puffing out his chest proudly. “I’ve been super good this year!”

“You have been a very good boy,” Mia chimed in, giving Jiwoon a thumbs-up. “Especially helping us with all this decorating.”

While Jiwoon was distracted with the garland, Jin seized the moment. He leaned closer to Mia, whispering mischievously, “I think we need to give our little elf a reward for all his hard work.”

Mia raised an eyebrow, a smile tugging at her lips. “What do you have in mind?”

“Just a little something to make the day more fun,” Jin said, his voice low as he leaned in closer. “Maybe a kiss?”

Before Mia could respond, Jiwoon turned around, catching sight of them. “What are you two doing?” he asked, suspicion flashing in his eyes.

“Uh, just discussing our decorating strategy!” Jin replied quickly, his voice turning innocent as he straightened up, a playful grin plastered on his face.

“Okay! But can you help me with this?” Jiwoon insisted, pointing at the string of lights tangled in a mess on the floor.

“Absolutely!” Jin said, swiftly shifting his focus to the task at hand. He knelt beside Jiwoon, helping him untangle the lights while exchanging mischievous glances with Mia.

As they worked, Jin couldn’t resist sneaking in little playful touches whenever Jiwoon was preoccupied. When Jiwoon turned to grab another decoration, Jin would lean in and brush a teasing kiss against Mia’s cheek, or he would whisper something sweet in her ear that sent shivers down her spine. Each time, Mia would try to suppress her laughter, her cheeks flushing with warmth.

“Stop it!” she whispered, swatting his arm playfully, but her eyes sparkled with amusement. “We have to focus on the decorating!”

“Who says we can’t have a little fun while we work?” Jin replied with a smirk, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her closer. “After all, Christmas is all about joy, right?”

Mia rolled her eyes but couldn’t hide her smile. “Joy and hard work. You know, like cleaning up after your messy decorating skills,” she shot back, gesturing to the trail of glitter and ornaments scattered across the floor.
