Prince Aron is doing a great job of providing me with fodder for my dissolution. He came today and it was an absolute nightmare. I tried to do the choreography for the Dance of the Twin Comets. It's the simplest of all the Giltean choreographies and the first one everyone learns. It still needs a minimum of 12 on your dexterity to pull off the steps with some competence.
Prince Aron tried to lead me through the steps and I swear I did my best. I even asked if we could slow down. I took off my shoes to boost my dex. I cast [Disguise] to make it look like I still had shoes on so dad wouldn't freak out. These people are still on the whole Victorian era nonsense that ankles are taboo.
He threw an absolute fit when I couldn't finish the dance. Throwing up because I was dizzy was the last straw for him. He stomped out of the house accusing me of not trying hard enough. He told my father he should push his daughter to be a proper Giltean woman.
He said and I quote: "Perhaps if you spent less money on language teachers and more on dance teachers she wouldn't be a disaster!"
But he hadn't been gone 15 minutes when Dimitri came calling. He is a holy and green mage so he came and cast [Heal] on me. We don't have any holy mages on staff. It's too dangerous in Alatea city for commoner holy mages.
The best part of that: Dominic sent him!
He sent me a [Message of Light] later that evening to see if I was ok. I would be more ok if he were in my bed but I said yes and thanked him for sending Dimitri to help me.
Dominic is just too perfect!
