"Death is so final, yet life is full of possibilities."

"Joffery is dead

"Joffery is dead."

The words left Nyssa's mouth bluntly as she addressed the Lords, Ember and Starks. Arya was unable to hold her grin in at the news as Catelyn held a hand to her mouth in surprise.

She did not feel sad about his death. She did not care he had died, it meant nothing to her in terms of war. Nyssa was glad he was dead for the sake of those he tortured, for the stories that travelled up to her ears.

For her cousin Margaery, who no longer had to marry him.

"Thank the Gods for that!" Diana threw her head slightly. "Stupid little boy."

"Tommen is not a threat," said Nyssa immediately. "Not really. He's a small boy. The threat comes from Tywin Lannister."

Robb watched as Nyssa spoke, head nodding in agreement.

It had been over a month since they'd gotten to The Icelands and planning had not stopped on what they planned on doing. Nyssa made sure all the men were able to see their families before they headed back out to war while maintaining the hold on the Riverlands like she had promised the Lords.

Winterfell had been at the top of her list before the news came through. She had realised how much danger the people in Winterfell were in if they were to attack at the wrong moment. She needed to get people out first, which she had people doing as subtly as possible.

Ramsey Snow — who she heard was going by Ramsey Bolton — had no care about the people of Winterfell. She could not — and would not — allow him to hurt the Notherners in an attempt to hold off battle.

Besides, Nyssa didn't plan on sitting a battle out and it was hard to fight when she was ready to give birth any day now. She'd been spending her days sitting in the Great Hall giving orders rather than out fighting.

"What do we do about Sansa?" Catelyn questioned.

"Sansa isn't in the capital anymore," replied Nyssa. "I sent someone to get her out weeks ago. I got word today that she isn't there anymore. They think she and Tyrion had something to do with Joffery's murder."

"You ought not to worry too much, Cat, we've sent men to find Sansa and we still have them looking for Rickon and Bran," Erik added kindly. "As we would for our own children."

Catelyn gave a nod, though Nyssa could see the dread in her eyes.

"My grandmother is still in the capital with my cousin, trying to take some hold of power. High Garden is good to us, though the Lannisters don't know so," Nyssa paused. "Margaery plans on marrying Tommen."
