Ship Names and Breaking News' in Truth or Dare

Cross legged like we are about to sacrifice someone (which I should know, given I have been involved in those plots before), we play the sacred game of Truth or Dare. It's my turn to choose who goes next, and I look at Aria.

"I dare you to make Toast laugh."

"Thank you Alex, I have been waiting for the opportunity." Aria suddenly takes on an evil look.

She rubs her hands together, smirking, and leans close to Toast, who is sitting next to her, "Now, now Toast -"

She grabs the remote and turns on the TV, not finishing her sentence as she flips to Youtube. While she types in something in the search bar, let me explain why I chose her.

She obviously gets enough screen time, yet, I know what question she will ask. I obviously don't want to be on the hot spot and ask the question, but Aria on the other hand... she officially announced she's a Jason x Ruby supporter. She calls the ship Jamma, combining Jason and Emma (Ruby's middle name), because apparently Jury and Rason sound weird. According to her, at least.

Okay, back to what Aria is doing.

She evilly types in don't laugh ultimate challenge, smirking with a mischievous glint in her eye. Toast rolls her eyes, but she's not prepared for the next thing that pops up: a flying cat with a totally terrified face slamming into the camera, and she bursts out laughing as we all look on horrified. I hope that cat is okay.

It was kind of ingenious. All of us are shocked and worried, but Toast? I sometimes wonder if she's a villain or a side character.

"HA, I DEFEATED TOAST!" Aria yells, screaming and jumping on the conveniently near-placed couch.

"Oh, shut it."

"Oh, shut it," she mocks back at Toast.

Suddenly an ad comes on, and a fit girl in leggings starts talking in an exaggerated voice. "Guys, do you know what's better than the Silvers and Elite line? Both of them, together. Introducing the Merge line, where you can shop the best of both, and a whole lot more!

Silvers and Elite have merged officially, and now you can get quality jewelry, clothing, accessories, and so much more on their soon to be up site. Cheers y'all!"

The ad ends with a screen in vibrant colors with #merge and under that Silvers + Elite = MERGE in large letters. We sit staring at the screen, Aria, and Atalanta, rotating between them. I try to open my mouth several times, but I don't succeed saying anything until Atalanta puts in a word.

"Breaking news: we might have merged our companies."

It spills out of me. "Excuse me, might? Didn't we agree to tell each other major stuff before it's done?"

Evelyn stands up and tries to defuse the tense situation. "Okay, yes, we didn't know. But it's not so bad! If one of them suddenly dies, at least the other can handle the company now! And besides, technically their companies are theirs so they can do whatever they want with it."

Aria takes a deep breath, "Yes, that really makes us feel better."

"It's not supposed to make you feel better. It's supposed to make us feel better." Says Zoe.

Atalanta raises a brow, "So did it?"

"Kind of," I say.

"Okay," says Athulya as she claps, snapping us out of our semi-daze, "enough about that, but that doesn't mean we aren't talking about it later," she gives the teacher look without the glasses. "Aria, since you completed your dare, it's time for your question." She says it with a semi-straight face, succeeding in not twitching into a smile unlike me.

Aria rubs her hands together - why are there so many A names again? Anyways, she rubs her hands together with an evil smirk, which is common for, and looks at Jason, making us turn toward the boy who was strangely quiet during our whole MERGE?! Conversation.

He puts his hands up, but Aria shoots on anyways, "Truth or dare, Jason Holland?"

Ruby looks at him desperately. "For my sake, you better choose truth. Actually, for both of our sakes, choose truth, Holland."

Jason winks, "And that just makes me want to choose dare. Also, Holland? That's a cute nickname." Ruby rolls her eyes in response, and responds, "Whatever, Holland." Athulya, Zoe, Evelyn, Lilith, Atalanta, Aria, and I all hold up our hands in the universal heart sign, and Ruby rolls her eyes again.

"So???" Aria prompts.

"Truth." This time, Aria looks scary as she smiles like an evil villain that just took over the world, full of satisfaction of what they can do.

"Do you like Ruby?"

Ruby starts screaming and finds a random pillow to hide herself under, but we can still see the back of her neck getting red as her screams for Aria to stop are getting muffled. Chuckling, we all lean closer, even the other boys, to hear Jason's response. Surprisingly, even though he's on the hot seat, he doesn't flinch, and smirks.

"Yes."

With that one word, the whole room flings into chaos. His friends are all over him, and Aria is screaming bloody murder. Ruby is hiding under her bed, and someone is running around trying to get water, saying they need some water. Some of us are just blinking, still comprehending what just happened.

"YESSSSSSS I KNEW IT!!! JAMMA FOREVER!!!!"

Aria's screaming, and I think she has officially lost it. She's now fangirling, and Jason is still sitting with a satisfied smirk on his face.

Somehow, Jason now has a hairbrush, and he's using it like a mic, tapping it.

"Tonight, we have breaking news where the Elites, the Invisibles, and the Lost Boys are prompted into chaos by a single word."

The only reasonable one of us (except for Toast, who is still on her phone), Lilith, is blinking at him, "Lost Boys? I'm sorry, I thought that was copyrighted by Disney or something."

"NEVER!" Jason said, finally breaking his masked composition and jumping up and down on the couch, where Ruby has moved to, hiding her face under a pillow. We all laugh, because it's just funny as Ruby complains to Jason to stop shaking the couch.

Then suddenly there's a knock on the door, and you can feel the silence in the room, as we all look simultaneously to the door, the fairy lights around us (because it's obviously our dorm, the Invisibles' dorm, 21009, we're awesome) shaking from our past commotion. Then, in unison, we all shout "Not it!" but Zoe is a few seconds too slow. We don't even look at Toast, because, yes, she's still looking at her phone.

Zoe creeps toward the door, and we all hide behind the dining table, as she creaks the door open just an inch, "Hello?"

We hear an inaudible response, and then Zoe's, "Yes, we understand."

After the door is shut, she looks at us and we look at her, unblinking eyes staring at each other. "I think we may have to take it down a notch, someone filed a noise complaint.

We roll our eyes.

"Okay, but just a notch," says Atalanta, and we all nod with her.

After a minute of complete silence in thought, Claire speaks up, "I think I found a ship name for Aria and Liam. Laria."

Then the room goes into chaos again.

See, very long!  It's nice and full of nice laughable parts!  Now I gotta go work on my worksheet for the class I'm in..... but anyways, what do you guys think?  Oh, and tag jasonholland0 so he'll see all this XD

But anyways, he does like her irl!!!!
