The First Dorm Party of the Year is BORING in All Caps

After finishing our work in Ms. Falstone's class, we're gathering together doing random things.

Ms. Falstone is the coolest. She's that one teacher that lets you do things and isn't so strict, but like, she does care if bullying is happening. I love her. Like, all those popular kids, BE HAPPY, with other teachers you would have gotten a lunch detention.

All of a sudden, Claire squeals and jumps up and down, making some of us (mainly Atalanta, Evelyn, and Lilith) fall off our chairs.

"OMG THE FIRST DORM PARTY OF THE YEAR!!"

"Isn't that our thing?" Evelyn asks, her eyes lifting from her phone. "I mean, we usually host it."

Claire rolls her eyes, "But that isn't the point. We gotta go." We look at each other, and in silent unison, we agree. Alex puts on an evil smirk, "I got you guys on the outfits."

Ruby speaks up, and holds a finger, "No, I do." Alex frowns, but nods slowly, "Next time, it's mine." They nod at each other, and we all stare at each other.

. . .

"This will look a-m-a-z-i-n-g on you," Ruby is saying, holding a crimson dress to Aria. She doesn't argue, and Ruby moves on to Zoe, holding a light pink top to her. She added a hot pink ruffled skirt and nodded to herself.

"Omg, yes!" Zoe just rolls her eyes, crocheting a scarf for herself.

"Anyone regretting this?" Alex asks. We look at her, all in with a black cocktail dress, and shake our head no. I was dressed in a complex blue dress that rotated between gradients of a sky blue and darker shades, playing on a sheen. I don't know where Ruby got all of these, but I'm not questioning it.

Some of the others are wearing different colored tops, and some of them are wearing dresses.

We arrive at the dorm, and immediately Toast finds soda, chugging it down while we look at her in concern. "That's not healthy," Lilith says, taking the cup from her, "the sugar will go in your blood faster like that."

"Besides, it may be spiked," Zoe adds. But then she takes the cup, swirls it and sips a little. "Nope, doesn't taste spiked," and then she proceeds to chug the whole cup. Toast pours another cup for herself and also drinks thirstily while we all give them the side eye.

I shook my head, "I'm not trusting that."

The others nod, and we all go and find canned drinks, cautiously looking at Toast and Zoe, who stare back at us with an eye roll.

"My favorite people!"

Oh, hi, Jason.

Behind him is Tim (who we lovingly call Tam Tim), Liam, and blondie. I forgot his name.

Blondie looks around, braces flashing as he smiles.

"You're uninvited," Ruby says. Then she turns and sees blondie. "Oh, look, Will Solace is here," Ruby comments, making blondie laugh. "I'm pretty sure I'm Will Merin," blondie responds. Wait, not blondie - Will.

I want to call him Solace now too.

"Oh, hi, Athulya," Will says, waving at me. I wave back, quickly.

Jason's group, the Lost Boys (which is a dumb name, if you ask me), and ours mix, talking and everything. I look to the side and see Toast and Zoe.

We keep forgetting to keep an eye on Toast and Zoe, but they seem happy playing... beer pong?

So far, though, they are winning, and they keep chugging the supposed soda.

"What are you doing?" Atalanta asks, taking them away for a moment after they win the round. Her tone is accusatory, and my only thoughts are - always the mom, Atalanta, always the mom.

"Playing beer pong." They look at each other and wink, happy their voices are in unison.

"You guys will get DRUNK!"

They look at each other and shrug, like twins, "But so far, we're winning. You don't get drunk if you don't lose."

Atalanta sighs, and lets them loose. The power of those two.

But mainly, the dance consists of this: people going... crazy, is the term I'll use, music blasting so loud that it's a miracle the campus police are not here, and basically... It's boring. Really boring. Like, I HATE THIS kind of boring. For any good party, you need a game...

Well, a game other than beer pong.

Suddenly we hear Tim make a noise that sounds similar to help, as he awkwardly points to... Toast.

Hanging on to him.

And smiling.

WAIT - SMILING??? If you know Toast at all, when she's smiling, either the end of the world is going to happen or she has finally gone crazy, or she's... I don't want to say it. I don't want to say -

She's drunk.

Next to her, Zoe is barely hanging onto her last shred of sanity, and we all stare at our unhinged friends.

I slide a few steps away. I don't know these people anymore.

"You're such a cutie," Toast says, her words slurring as she leans on Tim, her arms lovingly wrapped around him. Reminds me of when our English class had to read a Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare and literally groaned when Titania lovingly held Bottom. I'm sorry, that was just crazy.

Anyways, and Zoe's just stumbling around, going everywhere with wobbly steps.

"WHO DID THIS TO YOU GUYS!" Claire yells, making us all look at her.

"Hey, umm, they're the ones that drank it." Evelyn points out.

Claire clears her throat, "I meant, WHO SPIKED THE DRINKS!"

The room quiets immediately, the power of an Elite screaming their head off. Nobody steps forward, staring at each other, trying to figure out the poor victim. Their silence makes Claire's face twist a bit, and she angrily drags Toast and Zoe out the door, leaving the rest of us to follow them.

Well, now we have to figure out how to help them deal with their hangover.

Yes, I have updated, feel free to celebrate.

I may have just ruined the definition of drunk scenes... how was it though, in your opinion, all bias towards me aside?

YES, ALL BIAS!!!!!!!!

Anyways, I feel tired rn as my mom is talking about the time she and my dad lived in this h a u n t e d house..... like real life haunted.

May I say that I love my English teacher so much?  She's my favorite teacher, and she is the G.O.A.T, like seriously, Ms. Falstone was based off of her, but I can't do her justice.  I LOVE MY ENGLISH TEACHERRRRRRRRRRR

Anyways, cya,
