I've now officially moved in with Austin. He failed to mention that my accommodations involved a Futon couch in his bedroom and one little shared bathroom with three guys. But, on the bright side, he gave me a drawer in his dresser and most of the closet space. And I can't complain too much, because he's paying for our rent.

It's a little surreal to be done filming the show. It feels almost like it was some crazy dream and now I'm back to regular life. Well, except that nothing about my life right now is 'regular'. I'm now living in California, not Kansas. High school is over. Instead of having the most controlling boyfriend in the world, I have the sweetest, handsomest, bestest one. Everything in my life has changed.

The old Brooklyn probably would have freaked out about her new reality. She would have wanted to be a good girl for her parents and for Max. She would have worried that they were disappointed in her or she was breaking their rules. But not anymore. Being on Model Dreams helped me get more comfortable with change and take control of my life. With Aussie and Ry here with me, I feel like I'm where I belong. Well, except that I haven't seen Ry for two days. Sad face.

Alexis's celebration party was nice. She was the belle of the ball. But big fancy dress up parties still aren't really my thing. Ry surprised me though. After wearing a perma-frown for most of the season, it was crazy to see how good he was at shmoozing with all the important people at the party. He shook hands, smiled, and basically charmed the pants off anyone within arms reach. Luckily, he held me to his side all night so none of the women could devour him like they wanted. I could tell what they were thinking because they looked at him like he was a chocolate sundae.

I thought Ry would have an anxiety attack after all the touching and talking, but when we got back to the hotel he just wrapped his arms around me, buried his face in my neck and fell asleep. He's still getting tired from the nasty scorpion attack.

The next morning we left the hotel, me to Pasadena with Aussie and Ry to see Danny. I wanted to go with him, but Ry said I'm not allowed yet because I'm not on 'the list'. Apparently there are strict rules when it comes to visiting foster kids.

But I'm really excited because this morning Ry will be back. After taking a shower in the tiny bathroom, I put on a cute sundress and fix my hair so I look nice for my boyfriend. We are taking Aussie's car on a twenty-two hour drive to Kansas. I grab two bags but only pack a couple dresses and some toiletries because I plan to fill the empty suitcases with stuff from home and bring them back here to California. Aussie's doing the same.

After we get the luggage loaded into Aussie's Honda, a car pulls up to the curb and out pops Ry. His eyes find mine and my heart flutters. I really missed him so much. I run to him and dance around in excitement while he gets his suitcase out of the trunk. Once he slams it closed, I attack him with a big hug around his neck. "Ry! I missed you so much!"

He chuckles as he wraps his arms around me and spins me in a circle. He kisses my cheek and says in my ear, "I guarantee you didn't miss me as much as I missed you, Buttercup."

Aussie and Ry greet each other and discuss the drive, with me interpreting. Ry is hoping to drive first because he'll get tired later in the day. I remind them that I can drive too, but based on their response I don't think I'll be driving much.

"Can we get snacks?!" I ask as Ry starts driving toward the California-Arizona border. Every time I think about seeing my parents I get nervous.

But those thoughts quickly leave my mind because I had completely forgotten that Ry is a maniac driver. When I say that I mean he drives well over the speed limit when traffic allows. Austin gives me a look with big eyes. So I punch Ry on the arm, "We're not in a race, you know?" He smirks in response but doesn't change his speed.
