Hermione talked with Lavander as they walked down towards the dungeons. They invited Parvati but she apposed saying something about studying. Hermione was dressed with some of Lavader's clothing Hermione spoke her complaints but Lavander insisted and they wore their robes over them what Hermione was wearing was quite revealing but Lavander said it was cute.

"Ugh she's being lame." Lavander began
"Normally she's all over it." Lavander often spoke like she was the only person in the world. Her and Hermione were a good fit as she found herself often quiet around the boisterous girl.

"Maybe she doesn't want to go with me. I might be a bit lame too." Hermione said glumly.

"Hermione Granger, You are insane maybe a couple of months ago but recently you have been very interesting, even to boys." She said the last part slowly with sly smile.

"What do you mean?" Hermione said incredulously.

"Well, after the ball a girl heard things from girls and so on and so forth but quite a lot of boys have taken a fancy to you." Hermione couldn't believe it. Her whole life people told her that she was plain, boring, even just ugly at times and here Lavander was saying boys gossip about her?

"You're lying." Hermione said flatly with disbelief.

"Believe what you want. I'm just saying whenever you walk around with Harry he's had to chase a few boys away with those dreamy green eyes." Hermione scoffed at her words a bit peeved at how she described Harry's eyes. She had notice Harry look a bit annoyed when they walked too and from classes.

"I thought... I thought I was plain?" Hermione asked Lavander but mostly herself. Lavander stood with her back to the stairs that weren't revolving they've been standing here for a few minutes.

"Hermione you might be the daft one. Why do you think girls don't outright try talking to Harry in front of you? It's because most of them don't look as good as you." Hermione took in the words. Why would someone like Ron tell her otherwise?

"I'm not better looking than Harry." Hermione said simply.

"I don't know Hermione, a lot of girls like him because he's pretty much a celebrity. A lot of boys like you because you're hot." Lavander giggled at the last words. They stepped onto the stairs that led to the lower floor as they moved shaking beneath their feet. Hermione hadn't spoken in a while deep in thought as the two of them traversed the deep caverns.

"This way Hermione." Lavander said pulling her towards a dead end. Lavander took off her school robes motioning for Hermione to follow and she stashed them inside of a small box. Hermione peered inside and saw that inside the box there was a labyrinth of lockers Lavander pointed to locked 431.

"That's my favorite one I always use it." She said and Hermione stuffed her robes next to Lavender's, Magic was awesome. They continued and Lavender stopped staring at the large stone wall.

"What-." Hermione was interrupted as the wall opened and they continued in. They kept walking for a few moments untill it lead to a large opening where a large Slytherin boy stood outside of a door. Two people stood outside arguing with him.

"By Merlin just let her in! They let her in last time." A boy said angrily

"She's a third year it's too young." The larger boy replied. As Lavander and Hermione walked forwards she recognized the two other people as Ginny and Dean.

"Oh come on Adrian I beat your fat ass all the time during our matches." Ginny said hotly. For a third year Ginny carried herself with a quite an older attitude.

"Fine let me go ask Jade." The boy stalked off through the opening behind him muttering a spell that tightened a metal band in front of the doorway. Hermione and Lavander got close to the two.
