The morning after the party was a strange one for both Seungkwan and Hansol. Despite the lingering awkwardness from the night before, Seungkwan found himself in Hansol's apartment, and the two of them had somehow decided to have breakfast together. Neither of them really knew what to say after the intense kiss they shared at the party, so the silence in the air felt thick, yet strangely comfortable.

Hansol sat at the small kitchen table, looking slightly hungover but still annoyingly attractive. His hair was tousled in that effortlessly cool way, and he was wearing an oversized hoodie that made him look soft, which was quite a contrast to the competitive, sassy Hansol that Seungkwan had grown accustomed to.

Seungkwan, on the other hand, was moving around Hansol's kitchen with a sense of purpose, trying to distract himself from the swirling thoughts in his head. Seungkwan's inner monologue was interrupted by Hansol's voice, sounding groggy but curious. "So, what are you making for breakfast?"

Seungkwan blinked and glanced back at Hansol, realizing he had no idea what he was making. He'd been aimlessly opening and closing cabinets in the kitchen for the past few minutes. "Uh... I don't know. What do you have in here, anyway?"

Hansol smirked. "You're the one who offered to cook, tangerine. What happened to being the 'culinary genius'? Don't tell me you've been bluffing all this time."

Seungkwan rolled his eyes dramatically. "Excuse me, I am a culinary genius. But genius takes time to plan. I need to assess my resources." He opened the fridge, only to find it half empty with the most random assortment of ingredients. There was a sad-looking carton of eggs, some milk, a container of takeout from who knows when, and... peanut butter?

He turned to Hansol with a raised eyebrow. "This is your breakfast selection? How are you surviving?"

Hansol chuckled lazily, leaning back in his chair. "I usually just grab something at the cafe on campus. You know, like a normal college student. Who has time for fancy breakfasts?"

Seungkwan huffed and began rummaging through what little there was. "Well, you're in luck. I'm about to save you from a life of mediocre breakfasts." He decided to go for something simple—scrambled eggs with toast. It wasn't his most impressive work, but it was better than the nothing Hansol would've had.

As he cracked the eggs into the pan, Seungkwan felt Hansol's eyes on him. He glanced over and caught Hansol watching him with a soft expression, something that made Seungkwan's stomach flip. Okay, don't get distracted, Seungkwan. Just make breakfast.

After a few minutes, he plated up the food and set it on the table in front of Hansol with a triumphant grin. "Ta-da! A breakfast worthy of your high standards, oh great basketball captain."

Hansol chuckled, looking amused but appreciative. "Well, let's see if it's actually as good as you claim." He took a bite, chewing thoughtfully for a moment before nodding. "Alright, you win. This is good."

Seungkwan smirked, sitting down across from him. "I told you. I'm a culinary genius."

They ate in a surprisingly comfortable silence, but the air between them was charged with unspoken things—things neither of them were quite ready to address yet. Seungkwan, being the overthinker that he was, could feel the weight of their kiss from the night before still hanging between them.

Finally, after they'd finished eating, Seungkwan decided he couldn't avoid the topic forever. "So... about last night."

Hansol immediately stiffened, his expression shifting into something unreadable. "Yeah, last night..."

Seungkwan sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Look, Hansol, I think we need to take a step back here."

Hansol raised an eyebrow, looking slightly defensive. "Take a step back? You mean... pretend like it didn't happen?"
