"Wanna test it for me, Amy? I wanna see if it detects a basic command by thought only.", said past Tails, which Amy was about to say yes when she heard something at the door.

Blaze and Silver knew the best choice was Sonic. "Nope, nope, nope. I am not gonna say it. She will misinterpret it as a date or something.", said Sonic, crossing his arms in a stern expression. "We are too risky. Just tell her to come outside and meet us.", asked Blaze, hoping he'll say yes, but they were wrong. "I'll run into the ocean before I ask. It ain't happening.", he said again, not changing his mind.

"*sigh* Fine, I'll go...", said Silver, hunching down with frustration. As he walked there, Amy opened the door. "Oh, hey, Knuckles! What brings you here?", she asked. "Look, Amy... this is serious. Follow me.", Silver said, still as Knuckles. Amy got worried, so she went to him.

At a safe enough distance away from the workshop, Silver changed back to himself, which startled her. "Whoa... how do you do it?", she asked happily. "It's a gadget Tails made... will make... it's a long story.", he said. "[Will make? What does he mean by that?]", Amy thought in confusion. As the walked to the other two, Tails was still behind the rock, sitting down and very bored. He started to hum to distract himself from the time he has been left there. "Man... someone please tell me I can come out... well, I guess I'll sleep it off for now...", he said, as he fell asleep to kill time.

Silver and Amy reached Blaze and Sonic, and as expected, Amy got excited and wanted to run to Sonic, but Silver held her by the arm to stop that. "Not now, Amy. This is important.", he said, which while hesitant, Amy said OK and slowed down. "Sonic, please explain the situation.", Blaze asked, but immediately, Sonic started stuttering nervously. Silver sighed at the situation. "Blaze, explain it, please... The hedgehog over here is too slow for words...", he said in a sassy tone.

"Amy, don't get scared, but we are both from the future and our world was sent into a deadly chaos and most of us became mindless, leaving a few people refugees that went to the Sol Dimension, leaving Mobius in chaos.", Blaze explained while frowning. "We need all the help we can get. Unfortunately, all of us except Knuckles, Rouge, and Silver, ended up being affected, and you turned into a full on animal.", she continued, which surprised Amy and covered her mouth with her hands in fear.

"I'll bring Tails.", Amy said in a much more serious tone. She was about to say no until they realized future Tails is far too dangerous, so getting the old him would be a much better idea. "Alright, and then we'll explain it to him again.", Blaze responded. "Speaking of Tails, did the future him arrive too?", Amy asked. "Yeah, but he almost ate Sonic, so... not a good idea to bring him.", Silver responded, "And one thing. NEVER touch Blaze. You do it once, and this mission is over. Do you understand?", Silver completely changed emotion due to the severity and risk, which startled Amy, but later nodded.

As she went back to the workshop, past Tails noticed her coming back. "Hey, Amy. Where'd you go?", said Tails, smiling. "Follow me, Tails... please?", Amy said, smiling as well, which Tails happily agreed. As they reached the other 3, he was about to shake Blaze's hand until Silver yanked him by the arm. "OW! Why did you do that!", yelled Tails, rubbing his arm. "Don't ever touch Blaze. We'll explain. We need to get to Eggman's base to end a problem that will happen in the future.", said Sonic, and Tails, while very confused, agreed to join.

After entering again, Tails went to the Tornado to turn it off and they went to the directions Blaze was given by future Tails. Tails peeked through a hole in the rock and while they were flying off to get to the base, he waved his hand at them to say a temporary goodbye. However, doing that made him realize that this would likely be the last time he would be in an adventure with Blaze and their friendship will go to square 1, which made him sit down and face to the ground, making circles on the floor with his finger in sadness.

Part of him wanted to go with them, but it was highly dangerous, and any messup and they have to redo the group. "Well, this is the end... It was good while it lasted... I guess...", he said in a flat tone. "Hope they do OK. I might disappear due to the change in time..."

Meanwhile, on the Tornado...

"You know where you're going, right?", asked Amy, hoping for a yes. "More or less.", said Tails. "Well, which is it? More, or less?", she responded, worried. "Relax. Blaze will be telling me the directions.", Tails responded back, relaxing her.

"Because the last time you went to get me an item, you went to another town, and that other time you brought me to the wrong park to meet Cream, making her mom super worried, or-", she kept going until Tails cut her off. "Will you stop critizing me? You know you had a few problems as well, right?", he said, slightly angry. "I can turn this plane around if you guys keep annoying me.". This made everyone, except Blaze, quiet. After a few seconds of awkward silence, Blaze broke the silence.

"So, Silver, are you capable of seeing the future results?", asked Blaze, hoping for an improvement. "Too early for any changes. I'll check it when we get there.", he responded, which made sense, so they stayed silent, focusing on a possible plan to stop all this from happening.

25 minutes later...

As they arrived, Tails parked his plane on the shore of the island where the base was. "Alright, Silver. Now you can check.", said Blaze. As Silver checked, after a couple of minutes of checking, he went back. "I got news now. The world is unchanged from the previous future.", he said, which scared them. "But no worries, we can fix this. After we fix this, the world will be back to normal.".

"Alright, then let's go!", said Sonic, facing them and pointing to the base.
