The two spiteful girls barged there way right to the front of the stage and settled themselves in the best place, right bang in the centre. Neither girl was willing to miss any of the performances and did not care if they occupied someone else's spot.

A sound began to fill the air and for a split second the crowd began to cheer as they thought it was the beginning of the live acts. They were soon silenced and disappointed as they recognised what could only be described as a melody of continuing wet trumps, all over lapping each other and of varying pitch and length. The troubling sounds grew louder and everyone began to realise that the perpetrator of the disgusting sounds was in fact fast approaching right towards where they actually were.

Claire and Joanne were the first to listen to their inner voices and it was unfortunate perhaps that their inner voices were selfishly telling them exactly the same thing. That something dangerous may be happening, fir them both not to take any chances, to definitely not worry about anyone else's safety and to get as far away from there as humanely possible and as quickly as possible.

The girls glanced at each other and a shared a look of understanding. They began running at exactly the same time, away from the crowd and towards the crest of a small hill that led to the exit of the park.

Just as they approached the peak of the hill, they were ambushed by a great big brown furry brute that triumphantly appeared over the pinnacle of the grass. It was the Werebottom!

It was tall and it was hairy and it was round. Its eyes shone brightly as its legs seemed to propel it forward in perfect rhythm with its large out stretched arms as they clawed the ground in time with the beast's muscular legs.

It was leaving trails of green, foul smelling gas in its path as it was randomly charging around the park, tearing up lawns, grass and flowerbeds. It knocked both girls to the ground as it rampaged through the park area tearing flowers from their beds and branches from the shrubs and trees. There was soil flying in all directions and shredded petals being discarded in abundance.

As it finally charged out of the park gates and into the distance, the chilling and demonic sounds of the Werebottom's parps filled the night air with gas as it filled the towns' folk with fear.

Those who had stood near the stage had all fled as speedily as they could in the opposite direction, making it to safety as they scaled the walls of the park and scattered through the relatively quiet and deserted streets.

The only two victims of the Werebottom on this occasion were Claire and Joanne Fickleheart, who were both laid flat on their backs on the grass, completely dazed and confused. Their natural cowardice that all bullies hide from the world, was now laid bare for all to see as both wre laid in pools of their own wee, having wet their knickers in shock and in fright.

The fear that they felt had completely frozen them and was only marginally more sickening than their mouthfuls of the revolting toxic green gas.

A few minutes later the beast returned to Meanwhistle Manor. Durgle remained silent as he rested it for the evening whilst the Master watched him closely.

"You are a nincompoop Durgle, I can tell by the miserable look on your face that you are unhappy with tonight's events. For goodness sake try and relax yourself because everything is in hand now. I have made sure that all loose ends have been tied up - quite literally in fact! The unwelcome guests have been detained and I have made the necessary telephone calls to their parents to explain their absences. After all, they all know and trust me. I'll cover our tracks by keeping those interfering idiots locked up for a bit before scaring the living daylights out of them to make sure they stay silent."

The Master began to rub their hands together in delight.

"Tonight has put the final piece of the jigsaw into place. This destruction guarantees my success and I will prove once and for all that I am the greatest Meanwhistle in the history of the Manor. This began many years ago, but I'm going to make sure that it all ends tomorrow!"
