☆ Part 4 ☆

"Well that didn't take long" Dotty giggled, looking you up and down as the two of you walked up hand in hand.

"He was showing me how to get here" you replied quickly, knowing that she was talking about the hand holding.

"Sure dear, I like the outfits too. Poor Rainah though, usually you two match" she looked at Sahed and made a fake pouty face.

"She'll be fine, we only match for the act anyways, not because she actually wants to. You know y/n is only wearing that because of what happened earlier" he looked away as he said the last part, embarrassed by his stupidity earlier with the bucket of water.

"Whatever you say darlings, now please sit, have some food" she pointed to some empty chairs across from her and you guys sat down.

As you ate they introduced you to the other members of the circus and explained some of the basics to you so you sort of knew what was going on. You would have to pick a job around the circus but you were allowed to think about it first, you couldn't leave far from the center of the circus, everyone is dead and only Tonny knows how everyone is still sort of alive. It was a lot to take in but the others helped answer your questions and it felt like you would probably fit in just fine here.

After dinner everyone filed out of the dining room to go to sleep because by now it was very late.

"Where do I sleep?" You asked Sahed as you walked down the hall.

"In your room..." He looked at you in confusion, thinking that it was an obvious answer.

"Where is that?" You asked, unsure where 'your room' even was.

"Wait did Tonny not give you a room?!?" He seemed shocked that you didn't know anything about where you were supposed to live.

"I don't believe so" you thought back to the events of the night. It was likely that he forgot because you had apparently fallen asleep for a while after you joined the circus.

It seemed as though you had been too busy to properly meet with Tonny to figure out that sort of thing because of the time that you joined the circus at and the fact that you passed out as well.

Tonny was already asleep and nobody, not even Dotty, wanted to wake him.

"Well Sahed it's your fault they're here so it's your problem to deal with" Dotty batted her eyes, she had no clue what to do with you and had no intention of coming up with anything either because she was tired too.

The conclusion was drawn that you would just sleep in Sahed's room for tonight and get everything else sorted out in the morning. You really didn't mind the idea of sleeping in his room but you felt bad for him that he had to keep taking care of you.

"Lovely! Glad that's all figured out! Goodnight kids, don't do anything I wouldn't do!" Dotty wiggled her fingers at you two instead of waving as she walked away.

You and Sahed were left standing in the hallway momentarily until he showed you back to where the room was. He also already had a roommate so you were about to meet Rainah, the other illusionist.

Poor Rainah had been asleep before you came in but she heard you guys talking and got up.

"Oh what is this?? Sahed come on..." she was about to scold him for bringing you there, especially at that hour of the night, but he saved himself by explaining what was going on.

"So where are they going to sleep then??" She looked at their bunkbed, then back and you an him

"Well there's currently three of us here and only two beds..." Sahed started to reason.

"And I get my own bed" Rainah said quickly, not wanting to be dragged into this at all in the first place.

"You basically brought them here, you take care of them. Goodnight" she got back into her bed, rolled over to face the wall and pulled a blanket over her head. She was entirely done with that discussion.

"Aaaaaand you're stuck with me" Sahed sighed, looking at the blanket pile that was hiding Rainah.

"Sorry you keep getting stuck dealing with me..." You felt bad for him, everyone basically said it was his fault you were here but really you knew it was your fault for following him.

"I don't mind" he smiled at you and you felt like you forgot how to breathe. It's a good thing you were already dead, because if you weren't and your family found out about all of this they would've probably killed you...

"Enough, go to sleep" Rainah mumbled from under her blanket

"Ok ok geez!" Sahed put his hands up in defeat, not wanting to bother his roommate any more tonight. He then climbed up the ladder to his bed and gestured for you to follow.

You climbed up after him and laid down. There definitely wasn't very much space for two people to be up there but you had to make it work for tonight (thanks a lot Tonny).
