"Ok I'll join you guys!" you interrupted their argument.

"Really?" Sahed's face lit up a little bit as you said that.

"Yeah, seems better than going back anyways" you shrugged.

"This feels like another Kamille situation..." Tonny sighed.

"Oh absolutely" Sahed agreed. You had no idea what they were talking about but you figured you'd have the rest of eternity to ask them about it.

"Sign here then" Tonny pointed to the line at the bottom of the paper.

Without thinking too much more or reading the actual paper, you picked up the pen and signed your name in red ink.

You looked over at Sahed who was now standing next to you. He seemed intrigued by the fact that you were so willing to go with them.

"Don't look at me, look at him" he glanced towards Tonny.

You saw the glint of the dagger he was holding, the candlelight making it all the more ominous.

"That's classy" you thought about how you were going to be stabbed to death with a dagger, making the joke to deflect from the fact that you were actually terrified.

Sahed tried to stifle a laugh and Tonny just looked shocked that you were really judging him right now.

"Alright let's get this done, shut your eyes" Tonny said, brushing off your comment.

"So that it, you're just gonna kill me now, cool" you were more nervous now that it was actually going to happen.

"Yeah that's the idea" Tonny said, avoiding eye contact

"Pity" Sahed sighed "But at least you get to stay with us"

You had the little clown doll still in one hand, and held tightly to the armrest of the chair with the other. Your last sight in life would be Tonny in his red coat, holding a dagger with intricate designs on it, a candlelit circus tent, and Sahed sitting on the corner of the desk. His face was unreadable, hard to tell if he was sad or happy about the whole situation.

You shut your eyes and a moment later felt a sharp slashing pain across your neck, then you felt the blood start to pour out. You could still hear the guys arguing in the background.

"Wow, right across the neck, you really are classy" Sahed teased.

"The other option is to stab them in the chest, neither is very classy if you ask me" Tonny replied defensively.

"I suppose... too bad really" Sahed finally agreed.

"This is why we don't go flirt with random people at the circus" Tonny scolded.

The sound had been fading until eventually Sahed's answer to that was inaudible. Your grip loosened and the doll fell from your hand.

It's true what they say, your life really does flash before your eyes when you die. Memories of your childhood, hometown and family went by quickly. Memories that you didn't even remember played through. It wasn't all bad, your life was fine enough, you just hoped this one would be better. The last one was of your family, waving at you as you left for the circus tonight by yourself, none of them wanted to go but they said you still could "be safe, come back before midnight" one of them said. You felt a pang of guilt as you thought about how that would never happen. Eventually the memories twisted into a strange rainbow colored world.

It was very surreal, everything appeared to be made of pastel glass and crackled crystals and a soft light was coming from nowhere and everywhere at the same time. Even your own body started to become distorted as you ran through this dimension, you weren't even running at this point, more so just floating. Everything seemed to fade... or something... you actually couldn't remember what happened after that, to tell the truth.

It felt like a strange dream. Yes. Perhaps that was what this was... a dream.

[AN: ahhh yes, a dream. Also yeah, Y/n is very sarcastic :D ]
