Willa's POV

Zed swiped his z-band, zombieing out. I growled, exposing my claws.

"Zed, stop! Enough!" Addison said, grabbing her zombie boyfriend's arm. The aliens took off their masks and the looked around. There were three of them, a short female witha tight bob, a person with a middle part and a fringe who seemed to be the leader, and a tall male with a spiky haircut.

"Oops." He said, "It seems our arrival may have caused a small, somewhat destructive energy surge." Then he turned and muttered something to his friends.

A cheer poster blew past and the lead alien grabbed it. They looked at their friends excitedly, "Take us to your leader." They said, "Your cheerleader." Bucky stepped forward, but Lacey grabbed him and pulled him back. Bucky forgot that he wasn't cheer captain anymore.
Addison stpped forward, "Hi." The lead alien waved, "We accept your invitation to the National Cheer Off." Then, Addison's dad ran forward with the z-patrol, "Z-Patrol, arrest them!" He yelled. Before the aliens knew what was happening, they had been taken away.

Later, we were giving the aliens a tour of the school after we had decided to let them stay until the Cheer Championships. "Bonzo, let's not deal with the alien invasion right now. I'm kind of in an impossible situation." Zed said, worried about his scholarship for Mountain College.

"I understand." Said A-spen, the lead alien. "To get here, we developed interstellar flight, defeated space squids, traversed a carnivorous black hole, twice." Zed blinked. "Uh, okay, not that impossible. But because of you, I can't get into Mountain College. The recruiter quit, and zombies can't apply."
Then the aliens did something with the little screens on their wrists. We frowned and backed away slightly, curious "Uh, what are they doing?" Zed said.

A-li, the alien with a bob, shrugged, "Too bad you are not exceptional. The only way for you to get in is to prove that you are exceptional. Mountain College has a separate application for an exceptional-student scholarship and it does not specifically prohibit zombies." Zed chuckled, "Yeah. That sounds exactly like me."

A-lan, the tall male, frowned, "Perhaps exceptional means something else in this galaxy." Wakai giggled and Wyatt frowned. Zed growled, hurt, "Ah, okay, you know what? Believe me, I'm impressive. Kay?" A-spen raised their eyebrows, "Meh. I do not see it." Zed sighed, "Whatever. I am going to get that scholarship to Mountain College and knock down the door to higher education for all monsters."

"We have many advancements to share with your primitive people." A-li said proudly, "We even created a digestible bacterial fermentation of lactose at sub-zero stasis." Wynter's eyes widened at all the big words, "Whoa." Wakai scoffed, "Froyo? Yeah, we got that too." A-lan gazed at her, "Impressive."

"If you're here to invade Seabrook, our pack won't go down without a fight." I said, and Wakai growled in agreement. "We do not want your one-star planet." A-li scoffed, "They are so emotional!" She whispered to her friends.
"Yes, but when in Seabrook, I'm going to disengage our emotional suppressors." A-spen said, swiping on their screen, "Personally, I'm excited to see what emotions feel like. Excited! That's an emotion. It feels so... exciting!"
We continued walking along, until A-li turned to Addison and asked, "What is cheer?" Addison sighed, "Oh, don't worry. I'll show you later." A-lan asked, "Also, what is competition?" Addison frowned, trying to explain. "When you challenge others to prove you're the best."

A-li shook her head, "No, we are a harmonious people. We do not compete amongst ourselves." Wakai scoffed, and A-lan jumped in, "Although, that is an intriguing concept, is it not?"

Zed narrowed his eyes. Zed is the best at sport in Seabrook. Everyone knows that. "Hi, I'm Zed. Zombie, football star. Generally well-liked." A-lan smiled tightly, "Well, I am A-lan. Extraterrestrial." Zed chuckled, "Hey, the haters say I'm a little extra too."

Zed stuck his hand out and A-lan grinned, "Oh, competition." Zed frowned, "No, it's just a handsha..." A-lan grabbed Zed's hand, electrocuting him. Then he let go and Zed was left shaken and panting. "Did I win?" A-lan asked eargerly. "No, you did not win." Zed panted. Wakai smirked, "Oh, you definitely won." Wyatt narrowed his eyes and wrapped his strong arms around Wakai protectively.

"Apologies. Our people have a special stardust spark. That some lesser species may find painful." Zed growled at A-lan and stalked off. "So... Welcome to Seabrook!?" Addison said uncertainly.
