"Mommy!"

She gasped, startled by the sound of the glass shattering. The wine spilled across the floor, creating a sticky mess.

"No, diyan ka muna anak. Huwag kang lalapit."

"Ma'am? Ano pong nangyari? Hala, ako na po diyan Ma'am, baka masugatan pa po kayo." May mga maids na pumasok sa kitchen.

Mabilisang lumapit naman ang maid sa akin. Yung isang maid naman ay kinarga ang anak ko para hindi siya lumapit sa nabasag.

I was still frozen on my spot, hindi ko alam pero bigla akong kinabahan. I walked to my daughter at kinuha siya mula sa maid, pumasok kami sa room namin.

"Mommy? Are you alright?" she asked, her tiny hand reaching out to wipe away my tears. But the tears continued to flow, a silent torrent of grief and confusion.

"Baby, do you want to meet your Dad?" I asked her, my voice thick with emotion.

Her eyes lit up with excitement. "I am Mommy! I want to meet Dada!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with childish joy.

I don't know how much time I needed yet to still decide for the better future of my daughter. I knew how their family works, I studied the background of their reputable family when I was still in America with the help of Linux, she's a detective and the daughter of Chief General Lennon.

Vanity and Ekaterina have three children, they are all intersex at si Vodka ang panganay nila. The darkness behind the couple is that pinapapatay nila ang nagiging jowa ng mga anak nila in a discreet way, which is disgusting. It happened to Echo, the middle child. May inanakan siyang babae, they dispatched the girl after she birthed Echo's child. Ayaw nilang may outsiders sa family nila, because of their family's darkest secrets which I haven't yet figured out.

I don't want my daughter to grow up in that kind of household, mga criminal. Their children weren't even aware of their parents' dirty works, mga kawawang bata.

Back then, I wanted to meet her family. But as I discovered the truth about them, I wanted to throw up.

"I have to tell you something, Vaughn. You have to be open minded about this, alright?" I said, my voice was soft as I looked into her bright, curious eyes.

Matalinong bata ang anak ko, she got that from Vod. She could already grasp complex concepts at an early age.

"Yes, Mommy." she replied, her voice a quiet murmur of understanding.

I sighed. "Well, it's about your Dada. When I asked you earlier if you wanted to meet your Dad, she's actually in heaven already, baby. She's one of those stars."

Her gaze drifted to the window, her little finger pointing towards the night sky. "She's up there?"

I nodded at her,a lump forming in my throat. "Yes, baby."

We can't reach your Dada, ever. I can't let you reach her, it's for the best.

I will talk to Vod and explain things about her without telling about my daughter. This is to let my twin sister free from her, as well.

"Hello, Luna?"

"Yes, napatawag ka, Dusk?" Sagot niya sa kabilang linya.
