Chapter 9

"Miss President, how are you." Sinalubong ako ni Brandon, he's spinning the basketball ball on his finger.

I was on my way to SSG office dahil may pinapamigay si Tita Selene kay Luna, when this guy sudd popped out of nowhere at ginugulo ako.

"I can help you carry that," isang malaking box kasi ang hawak ko, it contains reams of bond papers kaya medyo mabigat.

Tita Selene donates bond papers na ginagamit ng SSG.

"Kaya ko na ito, will you excuse me please?" Nabibigatan na ako actually tapos humarang pa siya.

"Sige na, preside-"

Suddenly, someone snatched the box from my hands. I looked up to see Dmitri glaring at Brandon.

"She said excuse, what's so hard about that?" She stared him down with those cold eyes since mas matangkad siya kaysa dito.

Pero itong si Brandon, hindi din nagpatalo kaya hinahamon pa sa mga tingin niya.

I could feel the heavy tension between them, parang nagpapatayan sila gamit ang mga mata nila. I suddenly remembered that Dmitri had killed someone before, baka magawa niya ulit dito.

"Brandon, umalis ka na kung ayaw mong isumbong kita sa Student Government." I intervened, hinawakan ko na ang braso ni Dmitri na nakahawak sa box. It looked like it weighed nothing in her arms.

Nang nakaalis na si Brandon, na sinundan pa talaga ng tingin ni Dmitri, pinisil ko ang arms niya to grab her attention. Her expression softened when she looked at me. "Tell me if he ever bothers you again." She said firmly.

"Hayaan mo na siya, huwag ka ulit gagawa nang ikakapahamak mo. Baka mamaya bigla kang may gawin sa kanya ha, gusto mo bang bumalik sa kulungan?" I whispered the last part, my voice low.

"I won't, cause you said so. From now on, I will always follow what my love wants and will command." She smiled at me and winked.

"Tara na nga! Dami mo pang sinasabi diyan."

Kumatok muna ako sa door before buksan, si Luna lang ang nandoon kaya pinapasok ko si Dmitri.

Nagulat naman siya sa presensya niya, tumingin siya sa akin with questioning eyes.

"Where shall I put this?" Dmitri asked holding the box.

"Oh, pakilagay na lang doon sa corner. Thank you, Ms. Antonov." Pormal na saad ni Luna.

"Alright, I should go."

"Thank you din, Vod." I smiled at her, she nodded at me before leaving the office.

"So how's the progress of your mission?" Luna asked with a smirk.

I shrugged my shoulders, "Just going with the flow."

"Hmm, are you sure hindi ka naman nahuhulog sa kanya? Dusk said she's a sweet talker." She smirked at me, "Akalain mo yun, sweet talker tapos bitter taste yung pangalan."

My eyebrows furrowed at her, "I wouldn't, duh!" I rolled my eyes.

"Sure, Ms. Bituin."

"Sure, Ms. Bituin." I repeated.

Parang di kami magka apilyedo ah.

Siya yung nagsasabing maging seryoso sa mission na ito tapos pa-ngisi ngisi pa siya ngayon. May amats din tong si Luna. Wala nahahawa na rin siya sa dalawa.

"By the way, malapit na ang University Intramurals kaya need ng maraming bond papers. Anyway, thank you sa pagdala nung bond papers, I will surely thank Tita Selene." Luna said, her voice filled with a hint of relief.
