Para akong napipi nung sabihin nya yon. Ilang sigundo akong naka titig sakanya. 'Shit, Ayiah, calm down, please.

I only snapped back to reality when Tierra suddenly appeared out of nowhere. "Hi! Anyway, I'm hungry na po," she greeted Mikhyle sweetly. Then she turned to me and gently rubbed her belly.

Cute.

I kneeled down to her level, then softly touched her cheek. "Alright, mommy will go buy some food, but for now, watch some cartoons while you wait for me, okay?" I said with a warm smile. I couldn't let Mikhyle know that she's Sam's child.

At buti na lang ay naki sama si Tierra. Na para bang nakuha nya ang ibig kong sabihin.

Aba bata pa lang marunong ng makiramdam. Pwede na sya mag artista.

Mana sa nanay.

"I love you po.", bigla kung anong may humaplos sa puso ko nung sabihin ni Tierra yon sa maliit nyang boses. Tsaka ako niyakap muna bago sya sumunod sa sinabi ko.

Na miss ko ang mga pinsan ko...but.

Thanks to God, dahil marunong syang makisama.

"Do you have a child?" I looked at her without emotion. Her brow was furrowed, one of her thick eyebrows raised, looking as if she'd seen something unbelievable, shock and disbelief spreading across her face.

Huminga na lang ako ng malalim sa reaksyon nya, bago mag salita ulit.

"Look, Mikhyle, I have my responsibilities here, so can you please just tell me directly? What do you need, exact-"

"You. Let's talk." She said firmly. She'd been shocked a second ago, but now her face showed no trace of emotion.

Angas, huh? Real quick?

"Me? We're already talking," I replied sarcastically.

I wasn't sure why, but I smirked at her reaction. She straightened her stance and slipped both hands into her pants pockets.

"Maybe next time, if you're ready to have a proper conversation," she replied, acting like she was about to turn and leave. I quickly grabbed her arm. And awkwardly smile at her.

'Ano ba yan Ayiahhhhhh. Ako pa talaga? huh??

"Twenty minutes? Is that enough?" She didn't respond. I noticed her glance at my hand, so I pulled it away immediately.

Shit, awkward.

"Ahem.", Umubo pa sya kunwari tsaka umayos ng tayo."Yes, let's go. There's a coffee shop nearby, within walking distance."

I smiled at her. "Great, just let me say goodbye to Tierra and call a nurse to watch her, if that's okay with you?" I said, feeling a bit shy, but she just nodded.

I quickly went back into my office and told Tierra I'd be out briefly to get some food. Thankfully, she was a good girl and said she'd just watch cartoons. Parang kahit na sinong mag aalaga kay Tierra ay hindi mahihirapan.

Ang swerte ni Sam sakanya. Parang hindi sya 4 yrs old kid. Like sa murang edad kahanga hanga na sakanya ang pagiging maintindihin.

Sana dumating ang araw na mag kakilala na sila ni Jam. Isa ako sa pinaka masayang tao para sakanya, at para kay Sam.

I was even more relieved when I ran into Nurse Alexine right as I was heading out.

"Are you off now?" I asked as I stepped in her path. She gave me a puzzled look.
