pt 1

꧁~megan's pov~꧂
My eyes slowly peaked open as i heard voices from outside my room, quickly picking myself up with a yawn as the voices stopped, i sat along the edge of my bed and looked around.

"meg come" A blond boy spoke to me as i opened my door, "coming JJ", we both walked out of the house,
"Agatha did some work, huh" JJ spoke and leaned against the railing, "yeah, she did" john b replied annoyed while pulling branches off the pouge,

i walked down the steps past JJ to go over to my brother,

"where were you yesterday?" i asked quietly so JJ didn't eavesdrop, john b continued pulling branches off before looking at me, "me and Pope had to hit some waves" he chuckled to himself, "right, what about DCS, aren't they coming today" i told him while i placed my hands on my hips,

John b turned away, "nah their not getting on a ferry", I could hear stomping behind us and JJ appeared, "come on, think about it, it's god telling us to fish" john b put his arms up to signal that it was the perfect time to fish, i chuckled and JJ put a arm around me, "can't deny the facts meg" he playfully pushed me.

I leaned back playing with my fingers while John b drove the boat, him and JJ constantly talking to random people they knew as we drove by their docks,

I leaned my head back, closed my eyes and put my hands behind my head, "let me know when Kie is here" i giggled to myself as i was clearly not in the mood to sit and talk to these two for a bit.

"well, look who we have here" i could hear john b shout, "we have a safety meeting. attendance mandatory" he spoke again mimicking static , "i can't. my pops got me on lockdown" another voice spoke, i opened my eyes to see Pope helping his father out, i jumped up "hey Pope!" i waved, he gave me a wave back "hey meg" he smiled,

"come on man" JJ spoke and brought his hand to his mouth, "your dads a pussy. over" he copied john b's static voice, i gave JJ a dirty look and john b gave me a laugh,

"oh i heard that you little bastard" Popes dad Heyward came out from nowhere and replied to JJ,
"we need your son!" i shot up and told him, "yeah, and island rules, day after a hurricanes a free day" JJ spoke after me, making a complete lie, "who made that up?" heyward spoke, "uh pentagon, i think we have security clearance, i have a card" i added into JJs lie,

i could hear pope promising his dad he would do all the work the next day before jumping on the boat and we drove off quickly.

"i don't like your friends!" Heyward screamed, "Megan's alright" he added on, "love ya Heyward" i waved.

i dangled my legs from the front of the boat,

"oh, top o' the mornin to ya" JJ spoke, "morning boys, and meg" kie walked down to the boat and i smiled, "morning" i spoke,

"whatcha got, you got some juice boxes" Pope asked,

"you know, just some yogurts and carrot sticks" kie replied to him while she carried a big red box, "how about my kind of juice box?" someone asked but i couldn't tell who.

life was great with my little group, me and kie sat in our bikinis drinking beer like we where 21 year olds, john b, JJ and Pope just sat there chatting,

"let me show you a party trick" JJ shouted, i turned to kie and rolled my eyes, "terrifying" she rolled her eyes aswell and watched jj,

"hey pope can you go a little faster?" JJ asked,  while he climbed to the very edge of the boat, "oh god here we go" john b sighed and moved to the back of the boat what made me laugh,

"doesn't work, we've tried this like 6,000 times" pope told jj about the so called 'party trick' he was going to show us, even though we all knew what he was going to do cause he does it almost every single time we are on the pouge.

Pope hit the accelerator and the boat started moving fast, JJ had the bottle of beer up in the air trying to catch all the drink,

"oh my god your getting beer in my hair" kie replied, i looked over at her and saw splashes of it all over her face,

suddenly the boat stopped, the motor rattled and JJ went flying head first into the water, i could hear everyone scream, i was the first to sit up, "jesus Pope" i groaned, i looked around to see if JJ was okay and i could see him lift his head up from the water,

"you okay JJ" John B asked,

"i think my heels touched the back of my head" he mumbled but i couldn't help but laugh at how stupid he looked, i looked up at pope as he gazed upon the water, "hey i saved the beer though" i could hear JJ shout,

"guys" pope said while turning back to us, my attention was still on him "i think there's a boat down there" he pointed, "shut up"kie said,
"no, no guys i'm serious there's a boat down there" he continued pointing, we all got up and walked over to him, i noticed it straight away, it was white and the colour reflected straight of the water, we must have crashed into it,

"it's a boat" pope sounded so amused, i patted him shoulder "no shit" i continued looking down.

we all quickly jumped into the water and dived down to see what we could find, i pulled myself through the murky water and tried to see if i could recognise the type of boat, everyone pushed themselves back up to our boat so i followed them,

"you guys saw that right" i could hear JJ say,
and they all replied saying yes with laughs "that's a grady white, a new one of those is like 500 Gs, easy" i told them as i pulled myself back up onto the pouge, "since when do you know about boats"john b pulled himself up after me,

"it's the boat i saw when i surfed the surge" he added on, kie looked confused "you surfed the surge?",
"that's my boy pouge style" JJ cheered him on patting his back, "don't encourage him" i said as a joke taking JJ's hand away from john b's back.

"do we know who's boat that is?" Pope butted in, "obviously not" i shook my head, "but we are about to find out" john b said,

JJ pushed john b down into the water with the anchor so he could dive down and try find out who's boat it was, i huffed and walked over to kies red box taking a beer out.

A couple minutes of us all waiting impatiently John b finally dived back up, "oh my god that took forever" kie spoke first, i leaned over "you okay?" I asked him and he nodded in response,

"Any dead bodies?" Pope asked, "no, no, I found this motel key" he responded and lifted his hand up showing us all the key, "uh, a key" pope spoke again, "yes a key pope!" John b almost shouted,

"Great! we salvaged a motel key" Jj huffed and pulled the anchor up, "guys we should report the wreck to the coast guard, maybe we'll get a finders fee" I told them all as pope started the boat back up, "yeah and not work all summer, thanks Agatha ya batch" JJ answered me but I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or not.
