𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐒 𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄 ☆ 𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧

Pt 12

The sun slightly beamed through the small gap in the curtains across the room, my eyes slowly opened, I turned around shoving my face into a pillow as my eyes adjusted to the light of the room,

After a couple of seconds I turned back around rubbing my eyes with a groan,

I looked around for a second and remembered where I was, "not a dream, okay" I whispered trying to snap myself back into reality, i slowly creeped my head over the side of the bed to where Rafe slept on the floor last night to find he was gone, I looked over to the alarm clock on his bedside table and noticed it was 8:06, it was quite early and normally I wouldn't have been awake for another hour or two, I was kind of shocked that rafe was up already as I expected him to be the type of guy that walked up half way through the day,

My eyes began exploring his room now that I was alone, I looked back up to the posters on his wall with a smile.

After lying still in Rafes bed for the past 10 minutes I finally decided to get up, John b was probably gonna be really worried, and if he had texted me I wouldn't have answered because my phone was dead and I didn't really wanna trouble rafe into giving me a charger to use.

I walked over to where I left my clothes from last night, quickly I made my way into the bathroom just for incase someone ended up walking in, I took the pink shorts he had given me and quickly put my skirt back on, I began lifting the shirt I was wearing over my head, the shirt had a strong smell of cologne, it was the one rafe wore and I couldn't tell if the smell of it given me hatred or something else.

After I was dressed I walked back into the room and put my white convers back on, I looked around to try find my phone as I forgot where I had left it last night,

I finally found it on his desk, it had been on charge and was on 87%, rafe must have went out of his way to put it in charge, I plugged it out but then a small white piece of paper came into my view as it was beside my phone, "huh" I spoke softly as I lifted it up,

It was a note, from rafe I was guessing,

"I had to do something but I put your phone on charge for when your leaving, this is my number ********** add it into your contacts if you need me"

Was what it said, I looked at it and scoffed, I had appreciated he thought to put it on charge but excuse me, I was not having his number in my phone,

I quickly picked up a pen that sat on his desk top and turned the piece of paper around to write something back,

"Thank you for the clothes but I won't be needing the number" I wrote,

Quickly I folded the clothes I had worn last night and placed them on his desk with the note on the top of it, I giggled slightly.

I began walking to the door of his bedroom taking one last look at it as I was guessing this was gonna be a once in a life time experience but that was fine with me, why the fuck would I wanna stay here again, with rafe, no thanks,

I opened the door of his bedroom and closed it behind me, I paused as a similar noise came from across the hall, another door opening and closing,

I saw a tanned blonde step out of the room, she didn't notice me at first as her back was facing me, I was praying who ever it was didn't turn but she did, there was Sarah, she stood there as she noticed me with a confused look on her face,

I didn't know what to do or say, I just stood there staring back but I noticed a slight grin on her face forming,

"Are you sneaking out of my brothers room?" She began speaking with a little laugh, I felt humiliated, "not what it looks like" I said slightly putting my hands up, she looked me up and down, "not like I care anyway, but, did you sleep in there?" She asked,
I looked around to see if I could see rafe anywhere or even hear him walk up the stairs, but nothing, so I gazed back up to her, "I fell asleep here, at the party, he let me stay in his bed cause he said I couldn't walk home that late" I told her, "right, where did he sleep" she giggled, I rolled my eyes "on the floor" I responded,

Next of all, all I could hear was Sarah laughing hysterically, "Rafe slept on the floor and let you have his bed?" She asked, I could hardly understand her from her laughter, I nodded as I didn't know if she meant it in any offensive way and I think she realised what I was thinking as she stepped forward and stopped laughing, "not in any mean way, I'm just kinda shocked, I mean he's always going on about pouges being annoying, you know, and now he's letting you sleep in his bed and he took the floor, doesn't sound like the Rafe Cameron I know" she told me, I began thinking about what she had said "I guess I never thought of it like that" I replied,

She shrugged her shoulders with a smile and I couldn't help but smile back, "well if you don't want me to tell anyone trust me my mouth is sealed" she told me as she started walking towards the stairs, "thank you" I replied, she gave me another smile and started walking down, I quickly ran over quickly "hey Sarah!" I shouted not to loud though, she turned back and looked up at me "yeah?" She answered,

"I'm so sorry about the other night, is topper okay?" I asked to show that I was friendly and was against the whole pouge vs kooks, at least I was sometimes,

"He's fine, definitely has a bruised ego now though" she told me, "I mean you did hit a good punch though, where did you learn that" she chuckled,

I smiled back "boxing when I was younger" I told her, we stood there in the quiet for another second "well I'm sorry about JJ as well, he started it, he shouldn't have been egging you on to take the drink" I apologised,

"You shouldn't have to apologise for him but you know it proves your just mature, so apology taken" she spoke and started walking down the stairs, I stayed at the top and she turned again "I like you Megan you know that, your not what I thought you would be" she said, I took it as a compliment, "I could say the same Sarah" I said sarcastically and she laughed, "well you better get yourself out of here before ward is home" she replied, I nodded my head and watched her walk away.

Another short chapter sorry about that I've just been a bit to busy to write a long one, hope yous enjoyed though, I rly enjoyed this chapter as its kinda the start to Sarah's and Megan's friendship.
