Pt 10

I woke up the next morning, still in my clothes from the day before and my makeup still on,

"Shit" I groaned as I picked up a hair brush and started combing through my hair, I heard my bedroom door open and I turned to see who was there,

"Rough night?" JJ asked me as he stood at the entrance to my room, I was kinda happy to see him but I did feel a little awkward about last night when I stormed off crying, "something like that" I replied and walked to the bathroom to wash my face,

"Well we are all gonna go out on the boat for a bit, we all want you to come, if your up for it" he asked me with a big smile, I splashed some water on my face and dapped it dry with a towel, "yeah, sure, do yous have any alcohol, I think I'm gonna need some" I asked him, "nope, I drank the last of it last night, sorry about that" he replied, I just giggled and walked back to my room,

"I just want you to know that if you need someone to talk to, I'm here" he said,

I turned to him but didn't know how to answer, "I-" was all that escaped my mouth,

"Thanks" I quickly said and stood there awkwardly,

We both stood there in silence so I quickly grabbed a shirt "are u gonna just stand there and watch me get changed or you gonna leave?" I said to try make him leave, "I'll stay" he said sarcastically, I rolled my eyes "pervert" I pushed him away, "your older than me!" He shouted back as a joke, "yeah by like 4 months, now go, I'll be out in a couple minutes" I said and he did what I told him, he left my room and shoot the door behind him.

I looked at myself in the mirror with a smile before looking through my clothes drawers to find something to wear,
It seemed like a nice day out so I took a plum coloured bikini that JJ said always looked good on me, I grabbed a baggy black pair of shorts and a tight black cropped top to go over, I put my dirty black converse on with long white socks,

I didn't do a lot of make up because I was probably gonna jump in the water cause I normally do, but I put a bit of concealer on under my eyes to try hide the fact I cried myself to sleep last night.

We all sat on the boat enjoying the sun, me and kiara sat in our bikinis toasting our skin in the sun, I had a pair of sunglasses that were actually John b's but he always let me borrow them,

"So how are you" kie asked me, I looked at her with a smile, "I'm good, I just need to get drunk right now" I told her with a laugh, she responded with a loud laugh "girl same",

I picked myself up and sat at the edge of the boat near where JJ stood, I glanced over at John b who was driving the boat, he had brought the Fedex envelope from our dad and I was guessing the tape recorder and map were gonna be inside it, JJ whistled loudly which caught my attention,

"You guys see that?" He asked, everyone looked up, a red Malibu 24-MXZ was about to drive past us, "that's the Malibu 24-MXA, the worlds finest wakesetter. Number one in luxury, quality, and performance, 200k easy" JJ told us all,

"We picked the wrong parents" Pope responded shaking his head, I looked over to kie as she was about to say something "I hate to break it to you guys, but that's topper and his girlfriend" she said, I looked up,

Topper and Sarah stood close to each other, his hand around her waist, I noticed another person standing up near the back, he was tall with a clean buzz, "oh look, rafe too" kiara added on,

I looked straight at him, he noticed me and looked straight back, no words exchanged from the distance just stares,
He took a sup of the beer he was holding but somehow still managing to hold eye contact, I looked I'm up and down, kinda checking him out, he wore a black buttoned shirt with the first few buttons undone and grey shorts, I was guessing he realised I was looking him up and down as a big grin grew on his face, I rolled my eyes and turned around,
