𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐒 𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄 ☆ 𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧

Pt 17

I slowly made my way up the two flights of stairs to Sarah's room, I looked across the hall at the door, it was rafes room, my head tilted with a sigh,

"Oh hey!" Sarah said as she came out of the bathroom beside me, "hey" I smiled back,

She opened the door of her room and walked in, I quickly followed behind her.

I looked around, her room was a pretty shade of light blue, she had a white bed, desk and wardrobe, she had a few pretty decorations all around her room, it was honestly the complete opposite of rafes room,

"Okay let me get you some pajamas" she spoke while looking through her wardrobe, I closed her door behind me and sat down on her bed, "your room is so pretty" I spoke, she turned to me with a smile "thank you, I want to redecorate though it feels very, like the old me, if you get me?" She told me, I looked at her as she looked back into her wardrobe and pulled some clothes out for me, I had completely understood what she meant, ever since my dad went missing I felt like I've changed so much as a person and every time I see something I had or owned when he was around it makes me think about what I was like before he left, "yeah I get you" I spoke to her quietly.

She walked over to me and handed me some clothes, "bathrooms the room beside mine if you wanna get changed now" she smiled, I nodded my head and left to get changed,

I locked the bathroom door behind me for in case someone walked in by accident, I slipped my outfit from today off and put the clothes Sarah had given me on, she gave me fluffy pj shorts and a matching pj tang top, i quickly tied my hair in a messy bun with the bobbin I had wrapped around my wrist, I folded my clothes and unlocked the door and made my way back to Sarah's room,

"Okay what movie we watching" Sarah asked as I walked in, I placed my clothes down beside the door, "ooo, tough question" I laughed and sat down beside her on her bed, she had a tv remote in her hand scrolling through all the options, "what's your favourite movie?" She turned to me,

I sat there thinking for a second, "I'm gonna be so honest when I say this, lion king" I told her with a awkward giggle, she looked at me with a big smile before it turned into a laugh, "that's not what I expected, but good movie" she laughed again, I couldn't help but laugh back with her, not quite sure why but it happened,

"OOO!" she shouted, "let's watch a horror" she seemed so happy, I looked at her and raised my eyebrows, "okay, okay" I spoke, I was never really the fan of horrors but she sure seemed to want to watch one,

A couple minutes more of us deciding what horror to watch, we finally picked the first scream because I've never seen it before, we both got comfy under her cover and she started the movie,

"Okay quick question" Sarah said, I didn't look at her as my attention was focused on the movie, "yeah?" I replied,

"Not in a weird way, but is there something going on between you and rafe, just curious?" She asked, I turned to her and thought for a second, "no? I don't think so, I mean sometimes it feels like there is, but like, he's rafe, you know" I told her,

"Ugh I know trust me" she replied, I sat there not saying anything back, "if I'm being honest, I've never seen him look at someone the way he looks at you when your not looking" she told me, I started grinning ear to ear as she spoke, it made me happy but I quickly began laughing, "that was a lot of looks in one sentence",

She laughed back,

"I'm being serious though" she spoke still laughing thoroughly, "I know he's rafe, and you probably hate him half the time, but when you really give him a chance, and get to know him, he is secretly a guy that just needs someone to love in his live" she looked over at me, "not saying your that person, but maybe if you give it a chance",
