Chapter-48(Aarushi's birthday)

Aadarsh POV

I opened my eyes when I felt someone banging the door. I looked down to see my wife sleeping peacefully snuggling into my chest without caring about the world. She is just wearing one of my shirts and nothing else. I just want to stop this moment here and look at her the whole day. She is beautiful inside and out. Yesterday was a memorable day. I think she is still sore. She said her whole body was aching but the warm bath yesterday relaxed her a bit. I kissed her forehead and cheeks and pecked her lips wishing her happy birthday again.

"Aadu beta uto" I heard Ma calling still banging the door.
(Aadu dear get up)

I looked at the time and it was 8:30 already. I got up without disturbing Aarushi and went to open the door before she banged the door again.

"Arey badi ma sone dho. Kal raath achese soya nahi hoga" I heard Roshan saying when I opened the door.
(Arey badi ma let them sleep. They might have not slept last night )

"Par mujhe Aarushi ko wish karna hai. Aur tumhe kaise pata hai voh log raath ko soye yah nahi" Ma asked looking suspiciously at him.
(But I want to wish Aarushi. And how do you know whether they slept yesterday or not)

" Ha tumhe kaise pata hum soye yah nahi" I asked to take revenge for yesterday.
(Yeah how do you know if we slept or not)

"Mai tho baas esa hi bola tha. Vaise bhabhi kaha hai mujhe bhi wish karna hai bhabhi ko. " He said trying to divert the topic which got successful.
(I was just telling like that. And where is bhabhi I also want to wish her.)

"Ha uski pheli birthday hai shaadi ke baad hum achese celebrate karenge." Ma said being excited.
(Yes it's her first birthday after marriage we will celebrate it)

" Ha karenge par voh abhi fresh up hone keliye gayi. Hum tayaar hoke niche aayenge" I said signalling Roshan to take Ma away before she opens the door.
(Yes we will celebrate but she went to fresh up now. We will come down after we get ready)

"Ha tike. Chalo badi ma hum niche chalte hai. Aaj mai aap logon ko kitchen Mai help karunga. Hum aaj bhabhi ka favourite dishes banayenge " he said placing his hand around her shoulder lovingly.
(Okay. Come badi ma we will go downstairs. I'll help you guys in the kitchen today. Today we will prepare bhabhi's favourite dishes)

" Haat. Tuna help tho dur kitchen Mai pehr bhi math lagana." She slapped his hand away and went downstairs.
(No. Help is far away you don't even put enter into the kitchen)

I went inside the room and saw Aarushi was still sleeping hugging the pillow. I went near her and woke up.

"Ruh wake up" I tried to wake her up but she was not in the mood to wake up.

"5 minutes please" she said and snuggled into the pillow.
I decided to let her sleep for sometime and went to freshen up.

I got ready in a white and blue strips shirt paired with beige colour pants. I decided to stay home or go out with her today.
