Chapter 4

I arrived home after meeting up with Rich and heard the boys talking and pratting around, they must be doing a twit cam. I poked my head into the living room where they where.

"HEEEY Ruby! Come join us!" James said

"I'm alright, don't want to tramp your style" I said with a wink they all laughed.

I walked to my room a immediately the mess hit me. I'd not cleaned my room since the incident, so I put my One Direction CD on and got to work, I was singing and dancing along to "Back for you" Little did I know I was singing loud and that Beau was recording me.

"BEAU!" I screamed, he started running away so I chased after him, we ran into the living room and Beau and the lads were throwing the phone around so I couldn't reach. I eventually gave up and walked back to my room. I carried on tiding my room. I eventually finished and everything was in it place. I went onto Twitter and on the other tab I opened up You Tube and saw Beau had put the video of me singing and dancing around on the blog channel, I watched It, and looked at the comments and saw that there was some hate But I brushed it away not letting It get to me, after all I owe it to Rich for singing Little Things to me. I went on Face book and saw I had lots of friend requests of people using me to get to the boys and loads of in boxes of fans. But one in box caught my eye.

From Mark Brooks

"Hi Ruby, It's your dad here, I'm in Melbourne and thought I'd visit you guys soon. Hope you're all well"

Suddenly anger built up and hate, He just thinks he can leave and then years later turn up out of the blue and were a happy family again? I didn't know whether to tell anyone, I heard the boys finish their twit cam and Beau walked in my room and sat on my bed.

"Hey" he said

"What do you want?" I asked suspecting he wanted something.

"Nothing, Just thought we could hang out, feels like it's been forever since we talked properly" He was right, Me and Beau always had nights where we'd stay up chatting and eating pizza. I thought this might be a good time to tell him about the message. Whilst he was telling me about a new dare, Daresundays were gonna do I was thinking about how to tell him. I decided to just come out with It.

"Beau.."I said cutting him off

"Yeah?"He replied

"Um. I don't know how to say this..."

"Whats up?" He said leaning forward

"Um..."

"If you can't tell me show me or something"

"OK, 1 sec..." I opened up my facebook and got the message up and place my laptop on his lap. I couldn't tell what his expression was, It was just blank, like he'd seen a ghost. It was silent for about 10 minuets, until mum walked in telling us tea was ready. Usually when food is on the table we all race to it, but neither of us moved. Neither of us even blinked.

"Hellooooooo? Anyone there?"Mum said

"Um"I said

"Come on you too! You look like you've seen a ghost."

"....Mum, you need to see this.."Beau said giving her my laptop. I saw tears appearing in her eyes, I wonder whats going through her mind, Anger? Hurt? Sadness?

"Follow me." Mum said and we obediently got up and followed her to the dining room where Luke and Jai were stuffing their faces. I looked over at Beau and his face was full of anger, but when he realised I was looking at me her smiled, trying to hide the anger. We sat down at the table, mum at the head of the table as usual.

"Boys, can you stop eating, and listen to me please?" Mum said in a quiet tone, Luke and Jai dropped their fork at the same time with a loud clank. They looked at us then to mum.

"What up?"Jai asked

"Your dad has um..messaged Ruby...."She was cut of by Luke

"WHAT?! TELL ME YOU'RE JOKING!"Luke shouted

"OI! Calm down!"Beau said sternly.

"I'm not joking Luke, have a look for yourselves." Mum said pushing my laptop to them. I saw a lot of anger buid up in Luke, but Jai's expressions was blank.

"Well what are we gonna do?"Luke asked, with more control this time

"Well we can't exactly run away from this, he knows Ruby has seen the message because FaceBook has that new thing when you can see if someone has read the message.."Mum replied I hated that new FaceBook thing.There's no point to it, If someone reads your message you sent them but they don't reply it's just depressing.

"Were gonna have to stand up to this, and if he comes, IF, then we will be mature about this, right mum?"Jai said, I think he was taking this better than us all, he was so calm, but I knew on the instide he was probably REALLY pissed off.

"You're right Jai, We all need to be mature about this and not get angry."Mum looked at Luke when she said the last part. He was fiddling with his fringe, he always does this when he's angry.

"We all in?"Beau asked we all nodded with agreement, but somehow I had a feeling something would go wrong. We ate tea in silence but we couldn't really eat much even mum said to just leave it, se was fed up of seeing us playing with our food, she got every ones plates and put them in the fridge for tomorrow. Mum went to be because she could feel a migraine coming on, we all went to our rooms and shut our doors. I turned my TV on and "Keeping up with the Kardashians" It's my favourite program.

Beau's POV

I walked in my room and slammed my door shut and flopped on my bed staring at the celling. I heard Ruby putting on the Kardashians. I was tempted to put it on but I was too angry. How dare he! think he can just send a message to Ruby and that we'll welcome him to our home with open arms, hes got another thing coming. I know we all said we'd be mature about this but I just know me and Luke are gonna argue with him, Jai will probably try to settle us down, mum will probably will have had enough and go to her room, and Ruby well I really don't know what she's going to react like, she didn't say a thig at the table. I feel bad for her she doesn't even know him as he left when she was a baby, s all she knows is that he left us all on our own not even saying goodbye. I decided to go on twitter and Tumblr for a bit, to pass time, but when I looked at the clock it was only 10:00, fuck and it's only Saturday night. Suddenly Ruby burst in..

"MEAN GIRLS IS ON NOW!"She shouted running in turning it on. We both love it so much.

"I'll get the food!"I said excitedly. I came back up and it was just starting. Just in time! I sat next to Ruby on my bed and we got the food in a position so that we could both reach it. We watched the film like nothing was going on laughing and quoting the lines we knew.

"WE ONLY WEAR PINK ON WEDNESDAY'S!"

"YOU CAN'T SIT WITH US!!"

"FINE YOU CAN WALK HOME BITCHES!"

The film finished and Ruby went to bed, I decided to facetime James. I was telling him about the whole dad situation and he was saying that Luke is the one that'll get the most angry. We chatted till about 2 in the morning, until we got tired and went to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of a knock at the front door, I looked at my clock and it was 11:00 in the morning. I heard a muffeld voice and then heard Luke say

"WELL Come In then.."I'n and annoyed and angry voice. And immediately knew who was at the door.
