Chapter 14

Liz's POV

I woke up thanks to the sun splitting through Ruby's curtains. Man I'm tired. I don't think I got an acceptable amount of sleep last night. Oh well. I saw Siobhan was awake as I could see the light from her phone.

"Siobhan? is Ruby up?"I whispered

"Nope"She whispered back

"Have you watched Ruby's new cover?"she asked

"No, have you?"I replied

"No, come over here and we can watch it on my phone" She said, I stood up tiptoeing to Siobhan trying not to wake Ruby up. Siobhan plugged her headphones in and we had one each in our ears. Her cover was really good. We looked at the comments and lots of people were saying things like;

"Your voice is perfection<3"

"Voice like an angel!"

"Sooooo good!"

"Go on xfactor or something! You'd win!"

but then there was alot of things like this;

"Kill yourself"

"go die"

"go slit your wrists"

"Your voice is shit"

"I hate you. everybody hates you." 

and far worse things I don't even want to repeat. We looked at each other with a worried look on our faces. What if she's seen this. She's been much happier after going to this counsellor, we've all seen a difference. This would bring all that down back to rock bottom.  We decided to go find Jai or someone and tell them. We walked out of her room and shut it quietly so she wouldn't wake up, we could her voices down the hall, we couldn't tell who it was, it was too muffled. We made our way to the voices and saw Beau and Jai sat on the sofa eating toast. We walked over and sat on the sofa opposite.

"Whats up girls? You look worried"Beau said finishing off his toast and licking his fingers. We couldn't bring ourselves to say it so Siobhan passed Beau her phone and him and Jai sat there reading it all with disgusted expressions on their faces which was no surprise. 

"This is awful" Jai said breaking the silence

"Is she up?"Beau asked

"No" I said

"She can't see this, It'll break her"Jai said

"We know"Siobhan said. It was silent until Jai spoke up.

"Guys, look!"He shouted and shoved his phone in all our faces we read her tweet which she put 3 mins ago

"Haters, your wish is my command, you're getting what you want."

We looked at each other and shot up and ran to her room. We could hear crying and cries of pain. We needed to get in there but she had locked the door. Beau started t push the door hard and ran into it trying to break it open, he tried about 3 times and on the 4th it broke open. We saw a small figure in the far corner, with her back towards the door. We all ran over and we saw the blood dripping from her left thigh. Beau ripped the razor from her small delicate hands and tore it in half, cutting his thumb a bit but that was the least of his worries. We saw some pills next to her as well. I ran to go get her some water and Siobhan went to go get some towels and Luke, Gina. I came back with a glass of water with a straw, Siobhan was already back and Luke and gina had just arrived. Me and Siobhan left the room to give them some privacy and went to the living room. Too shocked to speak.

Beaus POV

We all sat there in silence well apart from Ruby and Mums cries. Luke, Jai and me were also tearing up. I never cry. Luke sat against the wall with his head in his hands. Ruby was resting her head on Jai's shoulder crying and hiccuping, I sat next to her against the wall holding her left hand and mum was applying pressure to the area with the towel, kissing it better. A bit like how she acted in my video "The sins" I made for my media project in school. Mum had got the bleeding to stop and we all stayed how we were before. Luke started crying and his was furiously typing on his phone, probably tweeting. I opened up twitter and he had put

"you disgust me"

"Some people in this world are sick cunts." and he left it at that and put his phone down and cried into his hands. Mum went over to him and hugged him crying as well. James sent me a message asking whats Luke tweets about so I told him and we left it at that. 10mins later Skip asked the same. I got a message from Siobhan saying her and Liz had left the house. 

Jai's POV

We all stayed still. No one moved apart from when they lifted their arms to wipe the tears away. It was quiet apart form the sniffling, until Ruby cried out

"WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE LET ME DONE IT?!" This shocked us all

"Because we love you too much" Mum said

" BUT EVERYONE HATES ME! EVERYONE WOULD BE HAPPIER IF I WAS DEAD."She shouted back

Don't talk like that"I said

"WHY? ADMIT IT. YOU GUYS WOULD HAVE A BETTER LIFE WITHOUT ME!"she shouter at me

"Stop Ruby! We all love you to bits! you've got a great family, friends, boyfriend! If you left we would be destroyed. People who subscribed to you would never see a new cover off you. What about 1D, 5SOS, Demi Lovato you look up to them so much, you said they, are your idols, and you would never leave them. If you had gotten away with what you wanted to do, then you'd have left them. You've always said that Demi proves that it's okay to be sad, and that you can get help from people. They'd be missing a loyal fan. The world would be missing and incredible singer, a girl that wants to make a difference in places like Africa by going there when she older to help out. You can't leave Ruby, you're too young, you've got your whole life ahead of you. Don't end it." Beau said. The room fell silent until Ruby burst into tears and hugged him.

"I promise I wont do this again"She said crying.

Luke's POV

We dried our eyes and went into the living room Ruby went for a shower and came into the living room and sat next to mum and me. Beau put Grown ups on which is Ruby's favourite film, it never fails to make her laugh, we got popcorn and sat watching it laughing. It ended and Beau went to put 50 first date on another favourite film of Ruby's, If you couldn't guess her favourite actor is Adam Sandler. Just as it was starting there was a knock at the door. I went to go get it. I opened the door and stood in front of me was Liz and Siobhan, they said the came to get their stuff and asked how Ruby was. I told them she was fine now and we with them to get their stuff from Ruby's room. I walked them to the door. I asked them if they wanted to stay but the rejected and said this was a time for family. I couldn't get them to stay I gave Siobhan a kiss and they left. I went back to the living room and watched the film.

Ruby's POV

I must have fallen asleep as I woke up in my bed at 11:30pm, they'd all be in bed. I tried getting back to sleep but it wasn't working. I got out of bed and notice i was still in my pajamas from last night I got changed into some fresh ones and walked to Beaus room. I walked in and he was sat in bed on his Laptop. 

"What you doing?" He asked 

"Can't sleep" I replied stood at the door. He patted for me to sit next to him and we went on Sims, until we fell asleep.
