Chapter 20

Rich's POV

Looking out of the window and seeing Gina and Ruby hugging suddenly made my world light up knowing she's back. Luke turned the lights off and hid in the shoe cupboard, Jai got of the sofa and crouched down by it and I hid in the corner by the TV. We waited for them to walk up the drive listening out for the turn of the door handle on the front door. The house was dark and silent and all I wanted to do was embrace Ruby and kiss her, and also to hear her soft voice. I could hear muffled talking from outside, i think it was Beau, I got ready to see my beautiful girlfriend again after so long. I heard the turn of the handle and the flick of the light switch.

"WELCOME BACK!" Luke, Jai and I shouted in usion, Ruby looked shocked and then a small curve of a smile formed on her face and tears started to come.

"Come 'ere you soppy bugger" Luke said and she ran to hug him, then the same with Jai and honestly that's the first time I've seen him smile and relax in a while. Then she looked over at me and walked up to me.

"Hey" she said quietly

"Hi, I've missed you" I replied

"I've missed you more" she said smiling jumping up to hug me, tears streaming down her face. I was immediately hit by her sent, she smelled the same, just as I remember and now she was in my arm, safe, knowing where she is.

Jai's POV

After saying our hellos and hugs asking how Ruby was we sat down and ate pizza and by this point Liz and Siohban had come round and we were talking about whats happened and Ruby told us all about "Life on the streets." Even though all of this was going on I couldn't concentrate properly because I was craving weed, I think Luke could see that I was itching for some but didn't say a word. It was taking over now and I found myself standing up.

"Jai what are you doing?" Liz asked

"I need some air"I said walking to the back door when mum said

"Are you ill?" she asked concerned

"No, I'm fine just need some fresh air that's all, you continue talking I'll be back in a bit." I said and walked out into the back garden to the far corner where no one would see. I reached into the plant pot and rummaged through the soil for a ready made roll. I picked it up along with the lighter and lit it smoking it with my back to the house. I thought I was safe until I heard Beau's voice behind me

"I thought you were coming off that stuff" He said disappointed

"Yeah, well, shit happens" The stuff was already getting to me, i didn't even mean to say that

"You don't even care do you?!" he half said half shouted making sure no one heard

"Look this isn't my fault mate." I said

"Yes it is. It's not mine or mums or Rubs or any ones. It's all on your shoulders because you got into this stuff." He said hurtful

"You don't have to be so rude" I said

"Me? Rude? mate, you're the rude one saying you need "fresh air" when really you're out here doing fucking weed. You're so disraspectable to everyone. Our baby sister has come back home and all you care about are your drug needs. Sort your life out and grow up. Start acting your age. And start being a proper brother and son." he said looking at me in disgust and walking back into the house.

Man. I've gone and fucked up again. I decided to put the drug out and sit outside until the side affects had left me.

Liz's POV

It's the best feeling in the world having your best friend back being able to go back to normal and have sleepovers talking about bands and boys and eating a shit load of junk food whilst watching comedy's, chick flicks and of course scary films. When I came round I made sure I remembered to bring the collage I made in art class full of pictures with me, Rubs, Siohban, Luke, Jai, Beau, Rich, James, Skip, Josh, Elliott and Sam (A/N: josh, Elliott and Sam are in chapter 1 if you don't remember :) . ) It was one of the best things I've done in art seen as I got an A* on it, it was a welcome home present for 'lil Rubs. She loved it so much and made Luke put it up in her room immediately. We went to her room and sat on her bed apart from Gina she was tidying away, I swear that women never rests and Jai was still outside, I don't even know what he was doing. Luke got some hangers and a hammer, Beau put "Don't drop that thun thun thun" on and started to twerk well he tried to twerk, i think this was an attempt to welcome Ruby back properly and well it was the truth because thats what we're all like, well we don't twerk all day i mean, we're just all idiots which is why we all get on so well and I couldn't be happier with life at the moment. Nothing could go wrong again, right?

Jai's POV

I sat up and felt my phone vibrate i thought the text would be Beau telling me to come in but boy was I wrong

"You better still not have that stuff or it's the end for you and your family. Watch your back."

Well shit. I deleted the tweet and went inside.

~ Hi everyone! Im sosososososososososo sorry! I'm such a procrastionator at this writing but i decided because I'm ill off school I might as well write another chapter. I hope you like it it's kinda just a filler on whats happening but yeah. Oh and HAPPY NEW YEAR...even though its a bit late... what are your new years resolutions?
