Chapter 9

Rubys POV

I got woken up by the sun splitting through my curtains. I looked at my phone and it was 8:00, on a Saturday. It's been about a week since it happened, i've had two therapy sessions so far and they are really good. Dr Hughes is really helping me. I haven't cut since that night at Nonnos. I've had a week off school, and i'm really missing Elliott, Sam and Rich, I haven't seen them in ages. I need to see them. I didn't know whether to get up yet or not, so I decided to have a look on Twitter and Tumblr. Luke and Beau walked in

"HEY HEY HEY GURRRL!" Luke said in his American accent

"'supp?"Beau said following Luke in. Luke jumped onto my bed and Beau placed himself on my beanbag. And they both pulled their phones out and started being antisocial

"Soooo, did you guys want something"I asked

"Yeah, Rich wants you to text him"Luke replied

"Is that all you wanted?"I asked

"Yeah"The said in sync and with that they left. Weirdos. I got up and had a shower. I dried my hair and put it in a fishtail plait, put on some light makeup and put on my white skirt along with my yellow smiley face on it with my brown sandals. I sat at my desk and texted Rich

I walked to the kitchen to get some breakfast. I got a bowl out of the dishwasher and a spoon, i got the cheerios out of the cupboard and pour them and milk into the bowl. I sat there eating when mum walked in wearing her work clothes. This made my heart sink as all last week she was a work and shes at work most of this week, I really need her as well with everything going on, I just want at least one day where we can sit watch films, do each others nails and talk about girlie stuff, we'd always do that on Sundays as that's normally her day off, but lately shes had to be at work all weeks. She was rushing around trying to find the car keys, I could see them right next to her. I got up and picked them up.

"Here, you need your eyes testing" I said passing them to her with a smile

"Thanks, what would I do without you ey?" She said placing them in her hand

"Not get far"I said and we started to laugh. I sat back down finishing off my cereal and mum was making her lunch. Luke and Beau had gone to pick skip and James up to bring them here, they were having a massive sleepover, and Jai was probably in his room still pissed off at me for me wanting to go to the UK. Rich walked in and I left my thoughts, he was wearing dark skinny jeans and a white t-sirt that has a queen card on it and dark blue high tops, he looked really nice, we talked for a bit and then I realised something

"OMG YOU'VE GOT A STRETCHER!" I exclaimed

"Woahh, calm down"

"Nonono, It's not bad, I love stretchers!"I said with a smile, when I said this his eyes opened wide

"Well that's a very good thing"He said

"What?"I asked

"Ruby, I've been meaning to tell you this for ages but with everything that's happened, I don't want to ruin our friendship that's lasted for 11 years (We've been friends since we were 3 and now we're 14) I've felt like this for a while and well, i-i want to be more than friends"He said not taking his eyes from mine, I thought I'd feel bad about it as i've never looked at Rich in that light before

"Rich..."I started

"You don't want to that's fine" He started to get up but I grabbed hold of his hand and pulled him into a kiss, It was amazing, I felt fireworks go off everywhere, I couldn't help but smile and i could feel his lips curving into a smile. It was magical. We sat there playing on the ps3 on some sort of war game that I was really bad at, I was sat on his knees whilst he played for a bit. Then the boys walked in

"Oooooo, Whats going on her then?" Skip said with a wink

"Ey, whats going on, you two together?" Luke asked

"Yeah"Me and Rich said at the same time

"Finally!" They all said together. We all sat talking playing on games when Rich had to go, I walked him out and we shared a kiss goodbye, I was in such a good mood and I realised Jai hasnt been out of his and Luke's room, so I made him a ham and cheese sandwich and pourd him a glass of orange. I walked into his room and he immediately shouted at me

"GET THE fUCK OUT! NOW!"He shouted

"I-i brought you food and a drink" I said quietly

"I DON'T CARE, LEAVE!"He shouted again, I placed the try of food and drink on his desk and he came over and kicked me in the shin, which made me fall to the ground, he poured the juice over me and shouted

"YOU'RE THE REASON I DON'T GET TO SEE ARIANA! I HATE YOU!"He shouted I got up crying and left and Beau came rushing to me and asked me what happened, I get it know, he wants to go to the UK just because Ariana is there for a couple of days, not because he wanted to see the uk fans.

Jai's POV

What the fuck have I done? I keep replaying the scene over again, I feel awful.
