Chapter 5

Lukes POV

I was eating toast my toast whilst Jai and Ruby fought over who got the last bit of cereal,mum was at the store buying something for tea and surprise surprise Beau was still in bed asleep, when the doorbell rang. I got up an walked to the door, and there in front of me was him, I didn't even want to say his name, it made me feel sick to the stomach. His mouth curved into a smile

"Hello"He said

"Um,"I said, i didn't know what to say to him.

"I know its a bit of a shock, but I wanted to see you guys, how are you Jai?"He replied, JAI?! JAI?! JAI? 

"I'm not fucking Jai! I'm Luke!" I shouted at this point Jai and Ruby stopped fighting and looked at what was going on

"Wow, I'm sorry Luke"he said empathising Luke..

"Well you better come in then...!"I said gesturing him to come in. He walked in looking around the hallway, he stopped scanning the room when he saw me, Jai and Ruby staring at him.

"I guess you want to see Jai and Ruby?" I asked

"Yes please!" he said excitedly, I knew they weren't excited to see him. He followed me into the kitchen to see them.

"Hi Jai, Hi Ruby" He said, hoping they wouldn't react the way I did.

"Hi."Ruby said quietly, honestly thet's the quietest I've heard her speak.

"Hello"Jai said bluntly.

Beaus POV

I got up after hearing dad arrive, I had a quick shower and put my black skinnys on, my Guns 'N' Roses top and my grey beanie. I walked into the kitchen to see Ruby, Jai, Luke and dad silent. It was  so awkward. They all looked at me, Ruby looked worried so I sat next to her and put my arm around her to comfort her, she automatically relaxed. Dad was sat across from me.

"Gosh, look at you! You've changed so much Beau!" He said shocked

"You can't really have the opinion that I've changed, after all you did leave us when we were only young." I said pointing out a true fact.

"I guess you're right, I'm ever so sor.." He got cut of by mum coming home

"I'm hooooome! You all okay?"Mum shouted from the door, but when he walked into the kitchen she had a shock.

"Hi Gina"Dad said

"You're earlier than I expected, Let me put this away and we'll all sit and talk this out."She suggested, she was taking this really well.

"Good Idea"Me and dad said at the same time, he gave me a smile but I looked away.

We all sat down in the living room, me, Ruby and Jai on one sofa, mum and Luke on the other and dad sat on a dinning room chair, I could feel that Ruby was really shaken up about this, so I put the blaket around us. We sat in silent for a couple of minuets until  Jai broke the silence,

"What are you even doing here?"Jai asked

"I came to Melbourne for work and I had some time off, so I thought It would be a good to pay you all a visit."

"So all it took for you to come back was a stupid work thing.."Ruby spoke, we were all shocked that she spoke

"Well, If you put It like that It doesn't sound so good..."Dad replied

"Yeah...."Ruby replied sarcastically, I felt the sofa move a bit, it was Jai laughing a bit at what she said.

"Do you know how much pain you caused us?" Mum asked

"I know it must have been hard, not just on you Gina but on the kids too, I wish I'd never of done it, I'd have loved to have seen you all grow up, and you lads should have had a father figure, that should have been me"he said 

"We turned out fine without a father figure, at least we understand women better and know not to leave them with 4 kids on her own."Luke said bluntly

Rubys POV

After Luke said that everything fell silent. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, it was a text;

From Rich

"Hiya! You wanna meet up? Could do with a Subway:)"

I replied back with;

From Ruby

"Sorry can't, "dad" is here..Have a spicy Italian on me;)" Spicy Italian is my favourite sandwich from Subway  

  We started to chat about it all and how we all felt,mum started to cry so Luke hugged her. Dad was telling us about what he did when he left. He moved to the north of England, I thought he sounded different to a usual Australian, He moved to somewhere called Yorkshire, never heard of it, but I love England, he got a job with this energy company and got settled in well, but never got re married or anything, his heart was set on his job. We were telling him about the whole Janoskian thing and he said it sounds cool and something unique that's never been done before and would love to see a video.We showed him the Baby Annabelle one and the 3L milk challenge on Dareundays channel. He really enjoyed them, then Beau put one of my singing video, it was my cover of by Lifehouse. He was really pleased that his kids were doing something good and intresting with our lives. We carried on talking about our lives, and I had relaxed a bit and so had Beau and mum but Jai and Luke still were blunt to him.  After a while dad said he had to get going and it was getting pretty late, dad left and the rest of us got some pizza. After we ate that we went to bed It was a long day.
