Weekend meant having sleepover at Janette's place and Shawn's excitement knew no bound.

Uncle Jayden, Janette's dad and Shawn's father's bestest friend, was now a well accomplished entrepreneur, having his own franchise all over the world. And her mother worked as a hair dresser. She didn't need to work necessarily but being an independent woman, she wanted to.

Since both of them were quite busy, they secluded the weekends to spend together. Thus Janette would often be alone during that time and she would call Shawn over for sleepovers.

Both of them slept together and stayed in an empty house all alone, but nothing ever happened between them.

Oh how desperately Shawn wished something did happen, but he was happy just to be with her, even if as just friends only.

"Mom, I'm leaving now. See ya tomorrow." Shawn said as he got his shoes on.

"Be careful and don't stay up too late." Destiny said softly. "And, no hanky panky." She reminded.

Rolling his eyes, Shawn suppressed his blush, grinning anyway. "So cringe, mom!" He whined.

"Have fun. I love you." Destiny smiled, kissing his forehead.

"Love you too. Say bye to dad for me."

"Okay." Destiny waved and watched as Shawn got in the car and drove away.

She wouldn't mind if he had something going on with Janette, she had known the girl from her birth. Their family dynamics fitted perfectly and there was no doubt Janette would look after her little boy like no one else.

But still, something in her felt scared, what if her little boy got hurt? What if Janette broke his heart and pushed him away? She couldn't shake the unpleasant thoughts away from her mind.

"He's gonna be okay." Aaron's soft voice spoke from next to her and Destiny turned to him with a smile, pulling him close as she hugged him in her embrace.

"I know." She replied, connecting their lips in a tender, passion-filled kiss.

"Dada!! Where's my purple dress?!" Came their little girl's scream from her bedroom, breaking her parents part.

Destiny grumbled as Aaron pushed himself away from her embrace, chuckling as his woman tried to pull him back in.

"Remind me why did we have so many cock-blockers?" She asked, ghosting her lips above Aaron's teasingly.

Still struggling to release her hold, Aaron stifled a laughter, "Only you, Destiny Ottile Archer, would call our kids cock blockers. Now let me go! I promise I'll make it up to you tonight." He compromised.

Convinced, Destiny let him go but not before planting an open-mouthed messy kiss on his lips one last time.

As Shawn entered the premises, the guards smiled and welcomed him, he greeted them with a wide grin and talked to each of them.

Janette was already waiting by the door, watching with admiration as her little one greeted and talked with everyone with such warm and kind smile.

Wait, since when did he become hers?

Well, he always had been. That's for sure, Shawn was hers, and she wouldn't ever let anyone take him from her.

When finally the boy was done greeting the guards and the maids, he walked up to the awaiting girl and gave her one of his sweetest grins.
