Rohan moved quietly through the dimly lit corridors, his pulse quickening with each step. He finally reached the room where Aahana was being held. She was tied to a chair, a bruise forming on her cheek, but her gaze was defiant.

Aahana: (noticing him, her face lighting up) “Rohan! Took you long enough.”

Rohan: (rushing over, a slight smile despite the danger) “You’re a handful, you know that?”

Aahana: (smirking) “Guess I make life interesting.”

Rohan worked quickly to untie her, his hands moving with urgency. But he couldn’t help pausing for a moment, looking into her eyes, the tension between them intensifying.

Rohan: (softly) “You have no idea how worried I was.”

Aahana: (teasing, despite the situation) “Worried, were you? Didn't think I was your type, Malhotra.”

Rohan: (smirking, his tone soft but intense) “You’re exactly my type. Now let’s get out of here.”

Meanwhile, outside the room, Ishaan and Saanvi were fighting their way through a swarm of armed men. Saanvi moved with lethal precision, her every strike filled with calculated rage. Ishaan fought alongside her, fierce and determined, each move protecting her in a way that was both possessive and protective.

Saanvi: (savagely taking down an opponent, glancing at Ishaan) “You don’t need to hover, Mehta. I can handle myself.”

Ishaan: (smirking, his eyes dark with intensity) “You might be able to, Mrs. Mehta, but I’m not about to take that chance.”

She rolled her eyes, but a faint smile played on her lips. Despite the danger, she felt a strange sense of unity with him. They were a formidable team, their movements synchronized, their mutual determination palpable.

Saanvi: (mocking) “Don’t think this means I’m impressed.”

Ishaan: (leaning closer as he dispatched another attacker) “I’m not looking to impress you, Saanvi. Just to keep you alive long enough for me to annoy you.”

The two of them exchanged a brief look, a spark of something more flashing between them before they refocused on the fight.

The Escape

With Aahana freed, Rohan guided her back through the warehouse, keeping her close. He was hyper-aware of her every movement, every breath, his focus completely on her safety.

As they reached the exit, Saanvi and Ishaan joined them, dispatching the last of the kidnappers. Aahana looked between them, confusion and relief mingling in her expression.

Aahana: (breathless, glancing at Saanvi) “Since when did you start playing superhero, Saanvi?”

Saanvi: (smiling wryly) “Guess I picked up a few tricks. Just be grateful you didn’t have to see me use them.”

Aahana raised an eyebrow but didn’t press further. Instead, she looked to Rohan, her expression softening, a silent gratitude passing between them.

Rohan: (meeting her gaze, voice low) “Let’s get you out of here.”

After ensuring Aahana’s safety, Saanvi turned to one of her men, her eyes sharp and focused, the cold command in her voice unmistakable.

Saanvi: “Bring me the head of this gang. Alive. I want answers.”

Her tone was steel-edged, and the shift in her demeanor was immediate. Gone was the softer side she’d shown for Aahana; now, the Mafia Queen in her was fully awake. She wasn’t going to let this attempt slide, and everyone around her could feel it.

Aahana: (watching Saanvi in shock) “Saanvi... what are you doing? How are you this... connected?”

Saanvi: (glancing at her with a smirk, her voice calm) “Some things you don’t need to know, Aahana. Just know that I’m not someone to mess with, nor anyone who’d let people I care about be in danger.”

Aahana: (stunned) “Since when do you...?”

Saanvi: (cutting her off, her gaze intense) “It’s better if you don’t ask. Some things are best left in the dark.”

Her men nodded in unison, acknowledging her command, and quickly moved to retrieve the gang’s leader. The air around Saanvi seemed to vibrate with the weight of her authority, her expression cold and unreadable as she watched them leave. The transformation was so striking that even Aahana found herself speechless.

Back at the mansion, Ishaan and Saanvi shared a moment of calm in the quiet of the night. The adrenaline of the rescue still lingered, but there was an understanding between them now, a silent acknowledgment of what they had gone through together.

Ishaan: (pouring a drink, smirking) “Quite a night, huh?”

Saanvi: (sipping her drink, raising an eyebrow) “You call that ‘quite a night’? You Mehtas really know how to downplay things.”

Ishaan: (leaning closer, his voice a low murmur) “Maybe it’s just an excuse to keep you close, Mrs. Mehta.”

Saanvi rolled her eyes but felt a thrill run through her at his words, even as she tried to brush it off.

Saanvi: (scoffing) “Dream on, Ishaan. I’m only here because we still have unfinished business.”

But even as she said it, she couldn’t deny the warmth in her chest, the strange comfort of being close to him. And in the quiet moments that followed, neither of them pulled away.

The Interrogation

As they brought the head of the kidnapping gang into the room, Saanvi stood with her arms crossed, her gaze icy and unforgiving. The man, now bruised and visibly afraid, was forced to his knees before her. She circled him slowly, calculating, her presence commanding the room.

Saanvi: (leaning down, voice low and lethal) “Now, you’re going to tell me who ordered this. Who thought they could get away with targeting someone close to me?”

The man stammered, looking up at her with wide, fearful eyes.

Kidnapper: “I... I swear, it wasn’t personal. We were just given orders. I... I don’t know who it was, just a message from someone calling themselves ‘The Unknown’...”

Saanvi’s jaw clenched, her eyes narrowing. The name meant something to her—a hint at a deeper game someone was playing.

Saanvi: (to her men) “Get him out of my sight. Lock him up until he decides to be more useful.”

As they dragged the man away, Saanvi’s expression softened, but only for a moment as she turned back to Aahana.

Aahana: (still in shock) “Saanvi... who are you?”

Saanvi: (smiling faintly, her tone is dangerous) “Someone who doesn’t let threats go unanswered.”

She met Aahana’s gaze, her smirk filled with dark determination. Whoever was behind this attack would soon learn the consequences of challenging her.
