The night was alive with music and laughter, as the sangeet ceremony was in full swing. The families were gathered, joy evident in everyone’s smiles, and the couples on the dance floor looked nothing less than magic. Rohan and Aahana exchanged warm glances, while Ishaan lingered near Saanvi, keeping an eye on her every move with a teasing grin.

Aahana, noticing Saanvi’s slight hesitation to let loose, nudged her. “Saanvi, come on! Tonight, let’s forget everything. It’s my sangeet, and I want my sister to be happy, not looking around like a detective!”

Saanvi gave her a small smile, sighing. “Fine, Aahana, for you. But only for tonight.”

Meanwhile, Rohan, who had been watching Aahana, caught her eye and pulled her into a dance. “Now, Ms. Soon-to-be-Malhotra, you’ve got to keep up with my moves.”

Aahana laughed, her gaze warm. “Oh please, Mr. Malhotra, let’s not pretend I haven’t already stolen the spotlight.”

Rohan chuckled, pulling her closer. “You’ve done more than steal the spotlight—you’ve stolen my peace of mind.” His words, filled with warmth and a hint of possessiveness, made her cheeks flush.

Not far off, Anaya and Sidharth were bickering as usual.

Anaya: “Why do you keep stepping on my foot? You’re a terrible dancer!”

Sidharth: “I wouldn’t be if you’d let me lead for once!”

Anaya scoffed. “In your dreams, Sidharth! The only place I’d follow you is straight out of this dance.”

Despite their constant banter, anyone could see the glances they shared between arguments, as if their fights were just an excuse to keep each other close.

Meanwhile, Ishaan finally found his way to Saanvi, holding out his hand. “Would you grace me with a dance, Mrs. Mehta? Or are you planning to hide in the corner all night?”

Saanvi raised an eyebrow, looking at his outstretched hand skeptically. “I would, but I wouldn’t want to overshadow the bride and groom.”

Ishaan’s smirk widened as he gently took her hand, leading her to the dance floor. “Let them enjoy their spotlight. Ours is just getting started.”

They began dancing, and the chemistry between them was undeniable, even as Ishaan tried to dismiss it.

As the music continued and partners switched, Rohan was dancing with Saanvi now. He gave her a comforting smile. “Look at you, finally letting go a bit. Aahana’s been a good influence, I see.”

Saanvi smirked. “Only for tonight, Rohan. Tomorrow, I’m back to my mafia queen duties.”

Rohan chuckled. “With Aahana around, you might have to keep the crown a bit lighter.”

As the song ended, everyone burst into applause. The couples began to regroup, laughing and exchanging friendly teases,

Meanwhile, Naira watched all this with simmering rage. She couldn’t stand to see Saanvi happy, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. When the opportunity presented itself, she seized it. Taking a glass of water, she stormed over to Saanvi, and without hesitation, threw the water right over her, shocking the room.

Naira: "Don’t forget your place, Saanvi Mehta. You may have fooled everyone, but I see through you."

In an instant, Ishaan moved forward, along with Rohan and Sidharth stepping protectively toward Saanvi.

Ishaan, voice low and dangerous, looking at Naira: "That’s enough. Whatever grudges you have, keep them in check. You don’t touch my wife."

Rohan, turning to Naira coldly: "You need to back off, Naira. Now."
