Saanvi crossed her arms, glaring at Ishaan, who leaned against her office desk with an air of confidence that made her blood boil.
Saanvi: “By the way, are you here just to irritate me, or do you actually have some work?”
Ishaan raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk creeping across his lips.
Ishaan: “Why not both? I mean, irritating you is a full-time job, but I can squeeze in some work too.”
Saanvi rolled her eyes, refusing to give him the satisfaction of seeing her flustered.
Saanvi: “You know, some of us are actually trying to run a business here. It’d be great if you could stay focused for once.”
Ishaan: “Running a business? Please, it looks more like you’re running a circus with all this drama.”
Saanvi shot him an incredulous look.
Saanvi: “A circus? Is that what you call my hard work? You have some nerve, Ishaan.”
Ishaan straightened up, his tone shifting slightly.
Ishaan: “I’m just saying, sometimes you need to lighten up. Maybe let me help.”
Saanvi: “Help? You mean make things more complicated? I don’t think so.”
He stepped closer, the teasing glint in his eyes replaced with a serious gaze.
Ishaan: “Look, I get it. You want to do this on your own. But you don’t have to. We could make a good team, you know?”
Saanvi sighed, feeling the weight of his words.
Saanvi: “A team? With you? That’s rich.”
Ishaan: “Okay, maybe we don’t have to be a team, but it wouldn’t hurt to collaborate every once in a while.”
Saanvi: “Fine, but only if you promise to keep your annoying comments to a minimum.”
Ishaan grinned, his trademark smirk returning.
Ishaan: “No promises. I thrive on annoying you.”
Saanvi couldn’t help but smile despite herself, shaking her head in disbelief.
Saanvi: “You really are impossible.”
Ishaan: “And you love it.”
He winked at her, and Saanvi found herself momentarily lost in the intensity of his gaze before quickly shaking it off.
Saanvi: “Just get to the point, Mehta.”
Ishaan: “Fine. I came to talk about the kidnapper situation. I think we need a plan, and I’m the best person for the job.”
Saanvi crossed her arms, her expression hardening as she looked directly into Ishaan's eyes.
Saanvi: “Wait, why are you helping me? You’re a Mehta too. How can I trust any Mehta? One of them is connected with that unknown person, and one wants revenge on the Mehra family.”
Ishaan’s smirk faded, replaced by a serious demeanor. He stepped closer, lowering his voice as he met her gaze with unwavering intensity.
Ishaan: “I get it, Saanvi. You have every reason to be suspicious. But not all Mehtas are the same, and I’m not my family. My revenge isn’t about you or your family. It’s personal.”
Saanvi narrowed her eyes, her heart racing as she weighed his words.
Saanvi: “Personal? You think that makes it any better? You still have a vested interest in this, Ishaan.”
