Arjun and Saanvi walked out of the mansion as it was time to say bye , As Saanvi entered the house after saying goodbye to Arjun, she was met with the intense gaze of Ishaan, who was leaning against the wall, arms crossed and waiting for her. She tried to walk past him, but he quickly stepped in her way, blocking her path. His eyes bore into hers with a mix of anger, frustration, and something darker that sent a shiver down her spine.

“Are you done with your little reunion?” Ishaan asked, his voice a low growl.

Saanvi narrowed her eyes, tilting her head defiantly. “Why, Mr. Mehta? Does it bother you that I have someone who actually understands me? Who doesn’t have ulterior motives?”

Ishaan’s jaw clenched, and in one swift move, he pinned her against the wall, his hands on either side of her, trapping her. The intensity in his gaze was almost overwhelming, a storm of emotions raging behind his dark eyes.

“Ulterior motives?” he repeated, his voice dangerously calm. “You think I don’t care about you? That everything I do is just for revenge?”

Saanvi scoffed, refusing to back down despite the proximity. “Isn’t it? That’s all you ever talk about, Ishaan. Revenge this, Mehra that. You’re so blinded by your need to settle old scores that you don’t even see what’s in front of you.”

He leaned in closer, his face mere inches from hers, his voice a heated whisper. “What’s in front of me, Saanvi?” He paused, his eyes tracing her face. “Because all I see right now is a woman who’s trying to run away from the very thing she can’t escape.”

Saanvi swallowed, her heart pounding as his words lingered in the air. She tried to push him away, but his grip tightened, his hands firmly planted on either side of her, leaving her nowhere to go.

“Let go, Ishaan,” she demanded, her voice wavering slightly.

A dark smile played on his lips. “Not until you admit the truth,” he murmured, his gaze never leaving hers.

“Truth?” she echoed, her frustration spilling over. “Fine. The truth is, I can’t trust you. You say you care, but everything you do pushes me further away. You’re the one who made me move into another room, remember?”

Ishaan’s eyes flickered with a momentary softness before they hardened again. “You think I wanted that?” he said, his voice barely above a whisper, tinged with a hint of vulnerability he rarely showed. “You think I wanted you to feel like you had to keep your distance from me?”

Saanvi’s gaze faltered, but she quickly steeled herself, refusing to let her guard down. “Then why do you make it so hard to believe anything you say?”

In an unexpected move, Ishaan leaned even closer, his breath warm against her cheek. “Because you make me lose control, Saanvi,” he confessed, his voice low and rough. “I’m not used to feeling like this—this… need to protect you, to keep you close. It drives me insane.”

She looked up at him, her heart caught between anger and something much deeper. “Then maybe you should let me go, Ishaan. Because I’m not going to stay trapped in a web of lies and vengeance.”

“Let you go?” he repeated, his voice thick with something bordering on desperation. “You’re mine, Saanvi. You think I’ll just let you walk away?”

She glared at him, her voice icy. “I don’t belong to anyone, Ishaan.”

He moved even closer, his lips barely an inch from hers, his hand coming up to gently brush a strand of hair from her face. “I could make you change your mind,” he murmured darkly, his eyes smoldering with intensity.
