How I Think the final scene of S3E20 would've gone if they actually showed us Kristal's proposal instead of just not showing it because literally why nothing gets explained we see trevek together and just assume "oh ok everything's fine and dandy now" LIKE I WANNA SEE WHAT HAPPENED GOD DAMNIT JARED >:((((((((( (not being a hater but bru)

-------

"I have a proposal for you..." Kristal said. Both men in front of her were intrigued, and scared. Both feelings balanced differently for each. They read her expression, but couldn't get a hint of what she was going to say.

"Well...?" Derek said, finally breaking the silence between the three of them. Kristal let out of small sigh, readying herself for what she was going to say.

"As you know, Derek, I've been talking about leaving the show to you..." She started.

"Yes... has that changed? Look, I'm sorry for not following your direction, but it would be hard for me to-"

"Quiet, and no. Not really." Kristal said, cutting Derek off.

"What do you mean by that?"

"I've... been thinking for a while about my life. Since I was a little girl, I've always wanted to be a TV host... like my father. It took years, but when I finally got to my dream, it didn't feel... like I expected." Derek looked to Trevor, who returned the glance. They both had no idea what to think, or where this was going.

"I've spent so, SO much time focusing on my dreams, and my father, that I haven't had time to TRULY live! I never had a long-time friend group, or been to a party, or even really had a boyfriend." She looked to Derek on her last point, which made Derek feel REALLY awkward since both people he loved were in the same area.

"I thought it was too late to get to experience those things. I thought they were silly highschool fantasies. But Marcus told me that it's never too late to live. That I can still chase my true dreams."

"That's nice, Kristal, but what does this have to do with the show?" Derek asked her, confused. Trevor nodded in agreement.

"You two actually still have your hosting dream, and I don't think it'll disappear anytime soon, like mine did. Therefore, I am leaving the show to both of you." Kristal said, finishing her 'speech'

"Wait, so you aren't firing Trevor?!" Derek asked, excited and curiously.

"You aren't firing me?!" Trevor echoed.

"Why would I fire you? Even now? I'm leaving the show anyways, and it's the last episode. There'd be no point!" Kristal answered, giggling a little.

"Wow... I don't know what to say... Thank you Kristal." Trevor said.

"Wait, if you're leaving Trev and I with the show, then what's going to happen with... y'know, us?" Derek questioned.

"It was a fling. Trying things out, you know? I had fun with you, Derek, but I don't know how it'd work with me on vacation and you on the show." Kristal answered calmly, trying to not crush Derek. "Besides, it seems to me like someone else has eyes for you." She giggled, pointing to Trevor, who's eyes widened in response.

"How did you-"

"We have cameras in the caves, remember?" She reminds, cutting off Derek once again.

Trevor averts his eyes away from Kristal, his cheeks redening. "Oh... right..." He lets out an awkward chuckle.

"Don't worry, you can have him. And, um... another thing, Trevor."

"Yes?" Trevor asks, nervously.

Kristal takes a quick breath, before speaking. "I'm sorry for making you take the full workload while I let Derek kick back and receive special treatment. It was... unprofessional of me to do so, and I apologize for that. I hope you can forgive me, but I do understand if you wouldn't."

Trevor's silent for a minute, processing what she had said. 'She really apologized?' he thought in awe.

"I... wasn't expecting that. Thank you for apologzing, and I do forgive you. I feel I should too apologize, mostly for not showing up when I was required. Guess that was pretty irresponsible on my part too, heh." Trevor responded.

"I don't blame you, if my boss was doing that to me I probably would've quit on the spot. I hope this doesn't make things between all of us awkward in the future." She joked, a nervous smile on her face.

"It shouldn't, at least not for me. Trevy, though, is probably gonna need his hand held." Derek joked back, earning a jab from Trevor, which he laughed off.

"Well, it was nice talking things out with you two. Would stay longer, but the finale starts in 5 and we've got fans to please. Are you guys going to come watch too?" Kristal asked them, starting to step out of the production tent.

"You kidding? We don't have time either! We gotta find our future season plans and get those in order! We've got so many ideas it's not even funny!" Derek said giddily, his pupils growing from the dopamine hitting his brain.

"Well then, Mr Hot-shot, I better let you get to it. You'll be free for the staff party afterwards though, right?"

"Only if it's at the pool-bar! If you think going against me is hard, you'll be seeing double going against the Billard Buster here!" Derek replied, motioning to Trevor.

"Awww, I'm not that good, heheh" Trevor said shyly.

"That's what we've planned! See you guys then." Kristal said, walking out of the tent with a smile on her face.

The two men watched her leave, an equally large smile on their faces. Everyone was satisfied, their beef was gone, and now the only thing they needed to focus on is getting to the pool tables first, vacations, and in Trevek's case, Season 4.

And boy, did they have ideas for Season 4.
