Chapter 20:

I had dropped the kids to school as usual for the past two weeks before getting home. I had to stop myself from rushing upstairs to get ready.

After a quick hesitation I installed myself in Lachlan's room where I found a little note.

"I gave you some space in the closet. Make yourself at home cause you are Leannan."

I smiled at his note and rushed to get ready and tidy my space up. I was in the shower when he got in. I felt him even before seeing him. I kept my eyes closed pretending I didn't notice anything and kept washing my hair. I was still startled when his arm looped my stomach and got me closer to him, his big hand landed flat on my stomach.

"Did I tell you how much I missed you?"

His lips were close to my ear the whisper made me shiver despite the hot water, his teeth grazed my ear as his hand got up on my stomach and breast.

"Have you eaten baby girl? "

I had lost a bit of weight the past two weeks, I haven't been eating much. He pinched my right nipple making me squeak instead of answering.

" I booked a week trip for us next week. "

He nodded.

" I hope you don't mind. It's the last week I won't be really busy before spring and summer rush. I know it's still early and you just forgave me but I thought it would not hurt for us to have some time together. "

I leaned on his strong torso enjoying his embrace for a few more seconds.

" I don't mind Lachs. Where do you take me? "

I tried to leave his embrace but he blocked me with his arm.

" I'll show you around. "

I smiled at his vague answer.

" My mom will mind the kids for the week and dad will mind the farm, if anything I got Graham to come and visit to see if he'll need a hand. "

" You thought of everything. "

He kissed me before letting me finally go.

" I'll have to go back a few hours at the farm. I'll be there around 11 if it's okay for you ? "

I nodded, missing already his warmth.

" Good. I love you. "

I smiled hearing these words. I had missed them.
