All traveling ends Here

The senior year was flying by as my twin and friends were on their winter holiday now.

"The town folk seem weird.  My own mom isn't behaving like herself.  I'd swear she didn't know I was her daughter. " Caroline said with a frown.

"I don’t know her or any town folk well enough.  But she definitely didn't know Care was her daughter." Reggie said as he held Care's hand.

Just then, a pregnant Jenna approached us.

"You.  You’re one of us.  Yet you aren’t afflicted by our curse.  Why is that?" Jenna asked.

It was then I knew what was going on around town.

"Ah yes, I am one of you, but I'm also something else.  I'm a hybrid, which kept me from being afflicted by the curse.  However, I've worked out how to destroy the curse.  That way, you can finally be in your own body and practice magic together as a coven should." I answered.

"You can?" The witch asked.

"Yes.  Have the coven meet me here on the full moon.  I will break it on that night.  Make sure you arrive in a body that's not my Aunt Jenna.  She's pregnant.  I don’t want to perform curse breaking on her.  Also, if the witch in the sheriff's body could choose another.  That's my bestie's mother." I requested.

I showed the witch on a map where to meet on the full moon.

"Consider it done." The witch said.

I watched as Jenna's face went blank and then confused.

"You know I love you, but this isn't where I was?" Jenna said, confused.

"Yeah, you were possessed.  Don't worry, I fixed you." I teased.

"What do you mean?" Jenna asked, panicked.

"Remember me telling you about my coven?  They're here.  One of them possessed you to talk to me.  They won't do it again." I promised.

Jenna left to take the nap she'd been about to take before being possessed.  Not long after she left, I saw Bonnie walking towards us.  I could feel she had her magic back, so I trusted she was here with good intentions.

"I came to apologize.  I could list excuses that led me down my path, but then it wouldn't be a real apology.

Elena, I know it confused you that I appeared to choose vampires over you, but I would never.  I was, in fact, double crossing Stefan.  Esther told me that if her children died, all vampires would die.  I didn’t tell the Stefan.

I no longer think vampires are an abomination against nature.  I've learned death is a part of nature.  So, how could vampires be wrong?

I actually met someone who helped me understand.  I'm in love with that someone.  He's a vampire.  Actually, Nikolina, you're the one who saved him.  I wouldn't have found this happiness if it weren't for you.  Thank you.

And so, I'm sorry.  There's no excuse for what I did.  I don’t expect forgiveness or for you to be my friends again.

I would like to help, though.  I noticed the travelers are in town.  I know you wanted me to shut down the other side.  I know you told me it's not natural.  A full moon is coming up.  I could help.  If you want." Bonnie offered as her boyfriend vamped up.

I could see why she said she wouldn’t have him if not for me.  It's the vampire we rescued from Whitmore College.

"Hello, sweet Angel.  It's nice to see my heroes again." Enzo said with a smile.

"I'm glad life is treating you well, Enzo.  You deserve it.  As for you, Bon, I'll accept your help.  I'm breaking multiple curses that night along with destroying the other side.  So another witch is useful.  Especially when it's her family that created the other side.  It'll make it easier for your magic to destroy it.  I think we're going to leave you alone now to talk more with Elena.  I think you two need it." I said.

It's been a few days since Bonnie walked back into our lives.  I won't say things are as they were, but she is bonding with Elena again.  In fact, she's been opening up to the rest of us as well.  I think she's definitely someone worth knowing now.  I digress, it's curse breaking time.  It's the night of the full moon.  I gathered up Bex, Kol, and Finn as tonight I'd be breaking their curse as well.

I arrived on time where we broke Nik's curse.  The travelers arrived shortly after me, along with Bonnie.

"Bonnie is going to begin destroying the other side so that Amara will be free.  In order to break your curse, Amara must be freed.  Silas has already been freed from his slumber." I explained.

Over the last few days, I showed Bonnie Emily's work and how to do it.  I monitored her for a few minutes until I was confident that she had it.  I then began my work.  I had three vials of Elena's blood that I began chanting over under the full moon.

"Esther cursed you with the doppelganger blood.  There was no other time she could have that you wouldn't have noticed as Nik was surely aware.  So it had to be the blood you drank before your father murdered each of you.  So now drink the doppelganger blood to reverse the curse on your magic." I explained as I handed each a vial.

"Just that simple?" Rebekah asked.

My two mates simply trusted me and drank their vials.

"Oh wow, I feel my magic!!  Drink Bex!" Kol shouted excitedly.

Rebekah's eyes widened, and she quickly drank her vial.

"Now, hopefully, the three of you plus Bonnie can help me break the Travelers curse."  I said.

"I did it!!  You're right.  The ancestors were using our magic!  I feel the difference.  I'm stronger now that it isn't being drained." Bonnie exclaimed.

I took the moon stone I created for this moment.  I tied the curse to the stone.  I put the stone in the bowl and poured both doppelganger's blood into the bowl with my blood and Gemini blood.

"You will each drink from this bowl.  Then we will perform the spell and your curse will break.  All I ask is you return your current bodies to where they reside before jumping back into your own." I ordered.

My coven agreed.  I finished mixing and removed the moon stone.  My coven had lined up and I went to the first member.

"Just a sip.  It needs to be enough for everyone." I instructed.

Each person took a sip and passed the bowl down.  Once they were done.  I raised the moon stone to the sky and began to chant with Bonnie, Kol, Finn, and Bex.  We had to repeat the spell enough times to cover each coven member before I felt the curse break through the stone.

"It is done." I declared.

"Thank you sister." One of the travelers said.

I'd guess she was the coven leader.  The travelers then left.

"Welp, all that's left for Mystic Falls is graduating." I said tiredly.

With that said we all returned home to sleep off the magic we used.
