Ding Dong

I wanted to make sure I had the information right as Freya was young when it happened so she could remember wrong.   Finn gave me the year his sister supposedly died, according to their mother, and I walked back to that time to see what happened.

I'm glad I did because Freya did have the details wrong.  Dahlia is the one immortal, and Freya only is because of the link.  So when I unlink them, she'll be mortal again.  But I see how it was done so I can undo the link.  I can ask Silas how to make her immortal or link her to me like I did her siblings.  I had the knowledge needed, and so I walked back to the present time.

"Ok.  Freya, it's actually your aunt who is immortal, and when I unlink you both, you'll become mortal.  But I know how to make her mortal and kill her.  If you wish to be immortal like your family, I can do a spell to link you to me.  I did that to the rest of your siblings." I said.

"I'll think about it.  I don't know if that's something I want.  You see, a long time ago, I fell in love and became pregnant.  My aunt killed my love, so I aborted my baby.  Technically, I attempted suicide.  But it only worked on my baby.  I digress, I may want to pass on and rejoin them." Freya said.

"The afterlife doesn't work that way.  You wouldn't join them.  They've already been reincarnated probably numerous times by now." I said gently to Freya.

"There's not a Valhalla or anything like that?" Freya asked.

"No.  I'm afraid not." I said.

"I still need to think about it before I decide.  As for my aunt, what do we need?" Freya asked.

"We'll need a ceremonial dagger coated in viking bone dust and your blood.  It requires her blood as well, but when we stab the dagger into her heart, it'll mix with her blood and then complete the work.  The bone dust and your blood will unlink you both.  Her blood will make her mortal, and then the dagger in her heart will kill her.  Bing bang boom." I said.

"You make it sound simple, but where are we getting viking bone dust?" Freya asked.

"Call it intuition, but when we killed Daddy Mikaelson, I took a bone from him.  So all I need to do is ground it up." I said with a smirk.

I ended up having Kai and Kol use their muscles to grind the bone into dust.  They were all too happy to do that work.  Once they were done, I coated the dagger in Freya's blood and then coated it in the bone dust.  I left it sitting in the viking bone dust until the next full moon.

As we waited for the full moon, Dahlia had already found us but couldn't break through the Potter wards.  She came every night trying so I'd know right where to find her when the time came.

Most of our time spent was babying Rebekah, who was having a hard time with morning sickness.  Between her mates, Care Bear, Jenna, Mia, and myself, she was well taken care of and didn't need to lift a finger.

Jenna has had her baby at this point.  They were nearly six months old.  She had a healthy baby boy who seemed to be a hybrid.  I mean, he's not a vampire yet but has the genes.  I know this because her baby shifts back and forth all the time.  He doesn't need to break the curse by killing someone to unlock his wolf.

Therapy was doing Nik wonders in healing a lot of his relationships with his family.  Especially with his adopted son.  It makes me happy to see them bonding.

Time flies when you're playing nurse for your pregnant sister-in-law.  Before I knew it, the full moon was upon us.  The wolves were out and running.  They were howling up a storm all over so that when Nik sends the call giving away Dahlia's location, she won't suspect it's anything but a howl.  However, he'll be letting out a short howling so I'll know the difference.

When he howled, I slipped through time so she wouldn't see me coming and use magic to defend herself. I appeared in front of her as I drove the dagger into her heart.  Nik appeared and held her in place.  It took a few moments for it to all happen.  First, the unlink and then making her mortal.  It was when she turned grey and began crumbling like stone that I knew she was dead and gone.

I now knew there were no longer any threats to our pack.  Our future generations will be born into a better world than we were born into.
