Again, I have a new project, but this one unlike the others will have a lot of focus on adult themes, so please, if you are under 18, don't read this. Other than that, I hope you enjoy the opening chapter.

NOTE: English is not my native language, I write in Portuguese and translate into English, so I ask for everyone's understanding if they encounter limitations or writing errors.

Alola, the tropical region full of natural beauty and known for the intimate interaction between local mysticism and the people, where tradition and progress go hand in hand.

For years, it was the ambition of Kukui, the region's leading researcher, to create a local Pokémon League, where he would elevate Alola to a global level, helping to develop infrastructure and annually attracting prospective trainers who would help the region develop its own talents. It was no easy task, after all, who would bet on a region without a defined hierarchy of power for competitive purposes? Of course, Alola has its spiritual leaders in the form of the Kahunas, but that would not be enough for the Global Pokémon League to be interested enough to put its efforts into that region.

But everything changed when a simple conversation with Samuel Oak at the annual researchers meeting gave Kukui the opportunity of a lifetime.

In the midst of unpretentious conversations, Kukui told Samuel of his desire to create a Pokémon League in Alola, and the difficulties he was facing, and Professor Oak immediately identified what was missing: a relevant name in the international competitive scene. But it could not be a reigning champion from another region, as that would put Alola in an inferior position, and it could not be some random trainer chosen only for his talent, as he would be the face of Alola, and if that person had a bad personality seen by the local people, it would be impossible to transform him into a face that would represent an entire region.

Kukui needed an aspiring champion who was young enough to inspire future generations of trainers, he needed someone talented enough to justify his position as champion so that his reign would be long enough to transform the Alola Pokémon League into something sustainable and stable, and finally, he needed someone charismatic and with the natural talent to unite an entire region under his wing, as well as having a personality that was in keeping with the people of Alola. Samuel Oak knew exactly who would be suitable for this task, a boy from Pallet Town who had been trying to reach the top of some region for years, always placing well in competitions, and possessing the natural talent to be a great trainer.

Ash Ketchum.

Samuel Oak is not proud of what he did, but indirectly both he and Kukui manipulated the boy, presenting the region as an opportunity to deepen his knowledge in Pokémon training, but the truth was that Ash was sent to Alola with three main objectives: Learn about the region, gain respect from the local population and establish himself as the strongest trainer in Alola.

And Ash did the job masterfully.

Of course, Ash Ketchum goes hand in hand with events worthy of fiction of the highest caliber, and the ultra beasts were something unexpected, but Ash, together with friends he met in the region, managed to prevent creatures from a different dimension from leading to an event with danger. of global proportions, all this while Ash earned the recognition of the Kahuna with sweat and hard work, and when the Alola Pokémon League was announced, Ash finally managed to reach the top, becoming the first reigning champion of the Alola Pokémon League.

At the age of 18, Ash Ketchum reached a level that only six other trainers had achieved, the title of champion, becoming the pride of an emerging region, which would have in its hands the future of a people who saw in him the light of a bright future for the next generation of trainers and even coordinators.
