They say "Victors write history"
And the thing is, it's horribly true
Countries claim it's only fair
But it has brought nothing but misery
To victims who had died unaware
Of the selfish deeds of their governments
When it comes to war, there's no real victory
Once innocent blood is shed, it's nothing but a fake glory
Innocent people get forgotten, even though they're not to blame
They've died despite doing no wrong, yet they still bear the shame
Leaders twist the truth, villainize the victims,
Then try to convince you that's the real story
