I don't like attending any social events
Especially parties. Everyone's louder there
I'm not shy, but I just don't like how people keep up the pretense
And lie to my face with hidden intents
"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women are merely actors" Shakespeare had said.
The whole world is a drama club.
And those who don't wear their masks well
Shall get off of the stage
But I'm fine with not being an actress
Happy, even
For who wants to spend their lives acting on a gilded stage cage ?
