In times of distress,
We view our minds as our enemies
Enemies who never let us rest and constantly oppress
And that might be the source of all mental tragedies
Look, your mind can be a torture chamber
But unlike a prisoner, you can leave anytime
I know it's weird to tell a person who's been surrounded by danger
That he can leave such a miserable place peacefully
But it's the truth
You don't have to fight your mind at every turn
If you do, it'll just fight you back until you burn
Instead, learn how to make peace with your mind
And acknowledge that you both might fight
But would forgive each other in the end
For a person who's at war with his mind
Is at war with the world
