As JJ woke up in the hospital his first instinct was to see if Venom was still with him as Venom pushed him out of the Symbiote so he didn't get hurt.
JJ said "Buddy you still here" but nobody responded to him. As he sits there in pain he stands up and gets dresses and leaves the hospital going to the gun range. He grabbed a Shotgun and Handgun and shot an headshot every single time. He then put the guns in his pocket and left the building where he saw Bailey and Steve waiting as soon as Bailey saw Him she ran to hug the boy because he just lost his best friend since WW2 all because of Rumlow.
Every time JJ closed his eyes from that night onward he saw Venom dying in posts of ways so he didn't sleep. But as days passed by it was time for the meeting about the accords everyone needed to sign.
Just before he Left Maisie came up to him smiling as if she had found something out that he doesn't know. "What is it now" JJ asked as he looked at her.
Maisie replied with a grin on her face "We are siblings".
