"No way, I have to get the rabbit!" Ding Qiyu's stubborn streak had taken hold. Not winning the rabbit for Qing'er was driving her crazy with frustration!

Fu Ruqing, seeing Ding Qiyu's childlike determination, couldn't help but smile softly. She stepped closer, gently stopping Ding Qiyu's hand from spinning the pointer again. "Let me try, okay?" she offered, giving the wooden pointer a gentle flick.

To everyone's surprise, as if by magic, the pointer spun several times before landing precisely on the elusive rabbit that Ding Qiyu had been unable to win.

Ding Qiyu's eyes widened in disbelief, blinking repeatedly to confirm what she saw. Qing'er was truly the lucky one here!

Fu Ruqing had only intended to spin once more as a way to convince Ding Qiyu to leave. She hadn't expected to succeed so easily, and a delighted smile spread across her face, her heart leaping with joy.

"It's a rabbit!" "Wow! Big sister is amazing!" The children, who had been watching eagerly, burst into cheers of surprise and excitement. The brother had failed so many times, yet the sister got it on her first try!

Even the sugar painting artisan couldn't help but chuckle, teasing, "Haha, young sir, you should have let the young lady try sooner. All that effort for nothing." As he spoke, he carefully crafted the rabbit that Fu Ruqing had spun.

Ding Qiyu laughed awkwardly, weakly defending herself, "At least the kids are happy, right? Haha..."

Fu Ruqing leaned closer, wrapping her arm around Ding Qiyu's, her smile unwavering as she softly called her "dummy."

Ding Qiyu's heart swelled with affection at her playful words, washing away any frustration from her earlier failures. She gently touched Fu Ruqing's face, responding to the artisan, "Haha, yes, I should have let my partner try earlier. I'm clumsy, and she's amazing~" She deliberately referred to Fu Ruqing as her "partner."

"You two are truly in love!" The artisan handed the rabbit to Ding Qiyu.

"Thank you!" Ding Qiyu gave the rabbit to Fu Ruqing. As they were about to leave, they noticed a small boy who hadn't received a sugar painting, watching them longingly. Ding Qiyu's heart softened, intending to spin another, but Fu Ruqing offered her rabbit to the boy instead, "Here you go."

"Qing'er, I can spin another for him!" Ding Qiyu protested.

Fu Ruqing shook her head, her voice gentle, "Take it." The boy hesitantly took the painting, looking up to say, "Thank you, big sister!"

Fu Ruqing smiled at him before turning to Ding Qiyu, "I've seen what a rabbit looks like. The child will enjoy it."

Ding Qiyu smiled warmly, "Qing'er will make a great parent one day." With that, she led Fu Ruqing away from the sugar painting stall.

Fu Ruqing was startled by her words. Parent? Her? Although she liked children, she had never expected to have a partner, let alone children. Now, with Ding Qiyu in her life, she realized they couldn't have children together... unless they adopted. It wasn't impossible, though not having her own child felt like a small regret. However, Fu Ruqing wasn't troubled by it. Ding Qiyu was already the surprise of her life, and having her by her side was all that mattered.

...

"Qing'er, have you noticed? This Yinxiang Flower Festival is supposed to be about flowers, yet we haven't seen a single real one?" Having walked the streets lined with flower-themed goods but no actual flowers, Ding Qiyu's curiosity got the better of her.
