Her explanation was clear and accessible, and although some details required further thought, the overall concept was understood by those listening. This ignited everyone's curiosity, leading to a flurry of questions which Ding Qiyu answered one by one, speaking until her voice grew hoarse. Fortunately, Ding Qiyu's strong foundation in geography from high school helped her manage the barrage of intricate questions.

Mr. Zhou's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm as he rapidly jotted down key points in his notebook, while students surrounded Ding Qiyu, eager to learn more. Some students, uninterested in the Law of Heaven, joined purely to admire the "scholarly elegance" of the situation. Even the Qingyi attendants standing by the hall couldn't resist their curiosity and joined the crowd. The class had transformed into a Q&A session with Ding Qiyu at its center, leaving only a few still seated. Lu Weixi, watching the composed figure at the front, felt her heart soften, a gentle smile gracing her lips. Yun Yi remained seated, penning down words in her book. The haughty princess, unwilling to lose face by joining the crowd, listened intently to the novel ideas. Meanwhile, Tan Yu and Zhang Zhiyao, irked by the attention Ding Qiyu received, were overwhelmed by envy, their curiosity overshadowed by hostility. Unable to bear the admiration directed at Ding Qiyu, Tan Yu finally spoke up, "Teacher, are we continuing the lesson?"

The raucous atmosphere was interrupted by this question. Though Mr. Zhou's excitement remained, he felt a twinge of embarrassment, having lost track of time and decorum. Ding Qiyu silently thanked Tan Yu for inadvertently rescuing her. She turned to the slightly embarrassed Mr. Zhou and said, "Apologies, teacher, and to all my classmates for taking up your time." Bowing to Mr. Zhou, she added, "The theories I mentioned were ones I'd read elsewhere. I can discuss my questions with you privately, teacher. Please continue with the lesson for everyone."

Her words were humble and courteous, taking responsibility for the interruption and giving the teacher a graceful exit. Mr. Zhou's admiration for her grew, and he resumed his place at the front, instructing students to return to their seats. He decided to skip the cosmology section and moved on to other topics within the Law of Heaven.

"Brother Yu, that was incredible. I can't even express it in words. Where did you learn all these fascinating things? I've never heard of them before!" Lu Weiming whispered, his face brimming with admiration.

After gulping down water to soothe her throat, Ding Qiyu modestly replied, "I came across it in a book by chance and found it reasonable, so I remembered it. Now, listen to the lesson, Brother Weiming, or you'll get caught by the teacher."

"Pfft-you were the one caught, not me!" Lu Weiming grinned mischievously, leaving his curiosity aside to focus on Mr. Zhou's lecture.

Ding Qiyu pursed her lips, contemplating her copy of "On the Art of Mechanisms." After repeatedly raising and lowering her hand, she decided not to push her luck after being caught, opting to put away her notes and focus on the lecture.

The sight of her endearing actions brought smiles to the faces of several girls still watching her. Was this charming youth, who had just eloquently spoken, really the same person?

As the lecture concluded, Mr. Zhou immediately called for Ding Qiyu. With a sigh of resignation, she told Lu Weiming and the others, "I probably won't make it to lunch. See you all later!" She donned a resolute expression and approached Mr. Zhou.

As the two departed, the students buzzed with conversation, all centered around Ding Qiyu.

"Young Master Ding is so well-educated, elegant in demeanor, and undeniably handsome. It's just a pity his background isn't more prominent; he's merely a companion to the Lu family's second son," one young lady lamented to her close friend.
