Dhananjay's hand was just an inch away from Ansh's face, so close that he halted his movement, withdrawing his palm.

"Raise your hand on me, Dadu, but I'm not going to back down from my words. I'm determined to marry her and take her out of that house, no matter what happens" he declared, turning and walking out of the room, heading upstairs.

"Ansh, stop! At least tell us what happened. Look at your mother; she's been so worried," Suhani called, causing him to pause.

"Hona kya hai Chachi? Jo apne, mene or sabne socha tha, vahi hua" he replied in a clearly upset tone. (What else would happen, Chachi? It's exactly as you and everyone else suspected)

"Ansh, my child, why won't you listen to us?" Aradhya stepped forward, gently caressing his cheek.

"Out of everyone, I didn't expect this from you, Maa. I thought you understood me," he said softly, lowering her hand from his cheek.

Unable to handle the turmoil any longer, he went over to the sofa, sitting down with his head in his hands as a severe headache started to throb.

"Kya hua mere pote ko,sab ne pareshan kar rakha hai na tujhe?" came from his grandmother. (What happened to my grandson, everyone's been troubling you, right? )

Kalyani came out from the home temple and sat beside him, gently stroking his head. He rested his head in her lap, and suddenly, a tear escaped his eye, which didn't go unnoticed by her.

"Dadi,no one is even willing to listen to me. I'm doing what everyone wanted; it's just that my approach is a bit different, but there's nothing wrong in it," he said.

"Tell me, why are you doing this ? I'm here to listen to you," she replied.

He sat up, took her hands in his, looked down for a moment, and then looked up at her. She gave him an encouraging blink, urging him to pour his heart out.

"Yesterday, I saw her having a panic attack, and we all know how terribly her family treats her. If I've decided to marry her, does that mean I should only start caring for her when she's officially my wife? Isn't it natural to worry about her health and well-being even now? Doesn't she deserve love and care?"

"Are you willing to risk your family's honor for all this?" Dhananjay's voice rang out from behind them.

The outburst was so loud that it startled Akshita and Abbir, who emerged from their rooms, visibly frightened.

"She must have dreams and desires of her own. We all know she wasn't even asked about this marriage-they just forced it upon her, treating her worse than an enemy. If the wedding is just a few months away, why can't she have some happiness now?

If my rights over her only matter after the wedding vows, then should I pretend to ignore her pain now? Because the wedding hasn't happened yet, all of you are talking about honor, as if I'm running away with her. When in reality, I am bringing her home respectfully as my wife."
