"Bhabhi-Bhabhi-there's no trace of Bhai. Since yesterday, he hasn't come home or to the office. We don't know where he is!"

"What? How-I mean, why didn't you tell me earlier this afternoon, Akshita?" Rooh asked in fear, as negative feelings took over her.

"Bhabhi, it's because he said he had something important to do, and I had no idea he hadn't come home yet. Now we're all worried-it's been more than a day since he last returned home," Akshita informed her over the phone.

She ended the call, anxiety now gnawing at her heart. She felt an overwhelming wave of dread building inside her, a feeling she despised. He wouldn't just leave, right? she wondered.

"What happened to you, Ansh ji?" A deep sense of abandonment crept in, stirring memories and fears she'd tried to bury.

"Why does everyone I want by my side either leave me or despise me?" she thought, despair swelling within her.

I can't bear this anymore, Maa.

Brushing her tears away with rough swipes, she resolved to find him. She called his number repeatedly, but each time it was switched off. Her frustration only grew; she barely knew his friends, or anyone else who might help her find him.

Still, she ran out of the house, indifferent to the rain pouring down on her. Nothing mattered except him-his safety, his health. Was he alright?

As she drove, she muttered his name under her breath, grasping at any shred of hope she could find. Then a thought struck her: the garden. Something within her, a gut feeling, urged her there. She sped off, the rain blurring her vision, her heart pounding with each mile.

"Please be safe, Ansh ji," she whispered to herself, "Please, Krishna ji, don't let anything happen to him." She clung to this prayer, the idea of losing him was unbearable.

Finally arriving at the garden, she leapt out of the car and ran inside. There was a man sitting all drenched and hunched over on a bench with his head bowed. His entire body was soaked, his hair plastered to his face, and his eyes shut tight.

Relief flooded her, so powerful that she barely registered her own actions. She sprinted over to him and, without a second thought, wrapped her arms around him and her sudden embrace caught him completely off guard, making him stumble a little.
