Ig I'm safe to say that some of you are really very dissapointing 🤎, one time I had my faith in you and check the last chapter- update update update wale comments that's it.

5k votes on the story, 2.3k followers and 100 comment on this chapter (no mass commenting, emojis, this time I'll really block)

If the target isn't completed don't expect me to update, I am also taking out my time this is the least y'all can do. Also just lyk I've written chapters till- 30.

If you take months, so will I , it's my second work and I don't think I am anywhere wrong in expecting something like votes and comments on my hardwork.

I've nothing against anyone who comments for update fast, I get it you love the story but why your love comes out only in one word?

This is the last update, we'll meet when target gets completed. And if anyone is going to hate me just for this- I don't want you here. I have had enough of people hating me and me tolerating it, don't know why. I am a human and it hurts me too.

Back to present:

"12 years later that stupid keyring still has a space in your pocket-and your heart," he said to himself as a soft chuckle, escaped from his lip.

He pulled out that pink doll, old, rusty keyring, which had aged so gracefully, its vintage charm standing out despite its worn appearance. His mind wandered back to the day Rooh had handed it to him, how small her hands were, and how innocently she had offered him that keyring, not knowing he would cherish it for this long.

He smiled at the flashback, as he felt nostalgic, his heart brimming up with joy.

He put the keyring gently in her hands again and murmured "Perfect place. Finally, the keyring and my heart is where it belongs-in the hands of its owner."

Looking at her, all grown up, the shocking reality of the moment hit him. She was here with him, by his side, and it was everything he had ever wanted but never imagined would come to pass.

Soon his gaze drifted to the clock, and as the clockhand hit midnight, marking the beginning of a new day, he leaned down, caressing her hairs lovingly, placed a soft, lingering kiss on her forehead.

"Happy birthday, chérie," he whispered, his voice filled with love, his eyes shining as he looked at his sleeping figure.

He watched her for a moment, his heart swelling with love. "Happy birthday, love. Happy birthday. I know nothing can undo everything I've done, but at least tomorrow, I'll make sure no one makes you cry, otherwise your husband have ways to get them on their knees, whoever it is." he whispered to her, his words carrying a promise.
