Stellan's POV

__________________♡__________________

"Hey, beautiful—I mean Ms-I-Can-Speak-6-Languages,

First off, I bet you look amazing tonight, standing there all confused and adorable as you read this. I mean, honestly, is there a moment where you don’t look like you just stepped out of a movie? I’d give you a gold star if I had one (don’t worry, I’ll keep looking).

But here’s the thing: I couldn’t let tonight be…well, ordinary. So, how about you step outside the hotel gate and take a walk to the main road? Don’t look so suspicious—I promise it’ll be worth it. Just trust me, okay? And don’t roll your eyes. Yes, I know you’re rolling your eyes right now.

By the way, you may be fluent in six languages, but I’m about to teach you one more: the language of surprises.

See you soon, troublemaker.

~Louis"

I couldn’t help but laugh, my cheeks warming as I finished the note. Shaking my head, I clutched the letter and bouquet to my chest, excitement bubbling up as I made my way out of the gate and down to the main road. Just as I reached the sidewalk, my breath caught.

A sleek, lavish car was parked by the curb, shining under the streetlights. The driver, dressed as sharply as the man who’d given me the bouquet, stepped forward and opened the door with a slight bow.

“Ms. Stellan, please have a seat,” he said, his polite smile hiding any hint of what might come next.

I took a breath, my heart racing as I stepped forward, excitement and curiosity swirling inside me. What was Louis planning? Whatever it was, I was ready for the adventure.

As I settled into the plush seat of the car, my gaze fell on a small, elegant gift box resting on the seat beside me. Curiosity sparked as I picked it up and gently lifted the lid.

Inside, nestled on a bed of delicate silver tissue, was a dainty bracelet—a slender gold chain with a tiny pendant shaped like a firefly.
