As time passed like water, the life sprouting in Charlotte's belly was now visible; Engfa's hands lovingly caressed this little miracle at every opportunity, and an indescribable excitement grew in both of their hearts.

As Charlotte's pregnancy progressed, her attachment to Engfa increased, and she did not want to leave her side for even a moment. Especially during dinner, she would hug Engfa tightly, making excuses to feel her warmth and keep her by her side a little longer. At the table, Moriah and Seraphine were sitting with the Waraha family, smiling and witnessing the happiness in the couple's eyes.

Rowena turned to Charlotte with a warm look and said, "Charlotte, my daughter...that little life growing inside you gives hope to all of us. How you shine next to Engfa," her eyes sparkled with emotion.

Seraphine added with a sweet smile, "Watching you both on this miraculous journey... It is truly an indescribable joy." Moriah looked at her daughter with a slight smile, "One day, you will always be a child in my eyes, but now you will be a mother, Charlotte," she said lovingly.

Engfa held Charlotte's hand and gently squeezed it, whispering, "I've been waiting for this moment since I dreamed of having a big family with you." Charlotte returned Engfa's gaze with a loving look in her eyes, while everyone at the table shared their happiness. Thus, this new life that kept the families together became more precious with each passing day."

As the conversation continued, Charlotte moved closer to Engfa, touched her arm lightly and asked in a gentle tone, "My love, can you bring me something sweet?" Engfa immediately smiled gently and looked at her with admiration, saying, "Of course, which dessert would you like, my love?"

Charlotte thought for a moment, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Hmm... actually, maybe cherry tart..." she mumbled, but then she shook her head and said, smiling, "No, no, I don't want cherry."

Engfa patiently watched her expression and suggested, "Well, what else would you like? Maybe chocolate?" Charlotte looked into Engfa's eyes, then nodded with a sweet smile. "No, I don't really want any dessert," she said, but then she rubbed her cheeks and changed her mind again. "Perhaps some milk pudding," she added, once more thoughtfully.

Everyone at the table was watching these sweet requests and renunciations with a smile. Rowena rolled her eyes slightly and whispered with a sweet smile, "Engfa, Charlotte is carrying a baby in her belly now. She shouldn't be shown such little coyness too much," she said.

Seraphine turned to Moriah and said, "Do you remember, I was like this when I was pregnant," with a laugh. "One night I even sent Moriah to the kitchen for three different desserts, but in the end I didn't eat any of them."

Engfa looked at the sparkle in Charlotte's eyes and the slight pinkness on her cheeks and said with a loving expression, "My darling, I'll bring you anything you want. In fact, we can bring you anything, you can choose whatever you want," he said with a smile.

Charlotte responded to Engfa's words with a warm smile, and moved closer to Engfa. "Just being with you is enough," she said softly, her voice trembling with love. Engfa kissed her and whispered, "I'm here forever."

While everyone at the table accompanied this heartfelt scene with compassionate glances, the love behind Charlotte's little coquetry and the families' devotion to each other had deepened even more.

In the early hours of the morning, Engfa noticed that Charlotte was not with him while he was busy with his royal duties. Although he did not pay attention to it at first, his curiosity turned to concern as the hours passed. He tried to send a telepathic message to Charlotte, but he did not receive any response. Engfa's face became serious and worried. He gathered his thoughts and began to wander the corridors of the castle in search of Charlotte.
