Charlotte and Engfa woke up early. Engfa kept his promise to Charlotte and began the sunlight tests. Despite being a vampire, Charlotte had dreams of going out into the outside world with Engfa during the day. In the first tests, Engfa used magic to prevent Charlotte from being harmed by sunlight, but this process required energy. After a while, Charlotte became tired and went back to bed.
Engfa was right next to Charlotte, watching her with deep love and attention in her eyes. She ran her hand through Charlotte's hair, keeping her magic slightly active so that she could relax. "Get some rest, my love. You're in safe hands," Engfa said, his voice soft and reassuring.
Just then, the door opened slightly and Myx walked in. Her eyes flickered to Charlotte and then to Engfa. "What happened here? What are you doing at this time of morning?" she asked with a hint of curiosity and concern.
Engfa looked up at Myx, slightly raising her head, and explained the situation. "I was giving Charlotte the sunlight tests. It was a bit challenging, but the trials went well. She's just a little tired."
Myx approached Charlotte warmly and sat on the edge of the bed. There was compassion in her eyes. "Charlotte, everything will fall into place in time. This is not something we expect to be perfect right away," she said, her voice soothing and sincere. She placed her hand on Charlotte's shoulder and continued. "You must be patient with this process. You will become stronger in time. As long as Engfa is here, you have nothing to worry about."
Charlotte smiled at Myx's warm approach, despite her tiredness. "I know... but this process is a bit challenging," she mumbled.
Engfa quickly intervened, saying, "I will take every step with you, Charlotte. We will succeed, we just need a little time." Her voice was both determined and full of love.
"Yes, you will overcome everything together," Myx added, smiling at them both. At that moment, an energy of love and support spread throughout the room, and Charlotte slowly relaxed and closed her eyes, continuing to rest peacefully next to Engfa and Myx.
"By the way, we've started making wedding preparations. We're thinking of inviting your family over for dinner, Charlotte," Myx said, easily chiming in.
Charlotte's eyes lit up even though she was tired. "Yes, I would love to!" she said excitedly. Getting together with her family and seeing them before the wedding would boost her morale.
Engfa agreed, saying, "Yes, we need to get the families together as soon as possible and get this wedding done, and then we can wear the crown," with a slight urgency in her voice.
Charlotte looked at Engfa with curiosity at these words. "Why are we in such a hurry?" she asked in surprise.
Engfa looked embarrassed for a moment and slightly averted her eyes. "I mean... according to witchcraft traditions, soulmates can't wait too long. We need to legalize this and make a vow," she said, a slight hint of embarrassment in her voice. "That's a bit frowned upon in our realm. I mean... you're in my bed every night, but we still haven't made a vow," she said, a bit more embarrassed.
Myx immediately agreed and said in a supportive tone, "Yes, Engfa is right. You should take his last name, Charlotte. You cannot act like lovers or a couple on the run," she said seriously. "You are two powerful clan queens. This situation is not welcome. Both Engfa and you have responsibilities."
Engfa felt more at ease with Myx's support and turned to Charlotte and said, "This is important not only for us, but for our realms as well. With this wedding and vow, everything will fall into place."
Charlotte had a slight smile on her face as she listened to what Engfa and Myx were saying. "I guess you're right," she said. "With the wedding and coronation, everything will be complete."
