Three weeks later Addison checked the mail while Meredith was napping on the couch. She smiled at the Manila envelope in her hands and pulled out her phone to call Arizona who was at work. "Babe? Is now a bad time?"

"It's never a bad time when it's you." Arizona responded. "I'm just in my office catching up on paperwork, is everything okay?"

"We got a hearing date!" Addison exclaimed as she put her phone on speaker and began to open the envelope.

"Really?!" Arizona squealed into the phone. "When is it?"

"A month from today." Addison bounced in place as she excitedly squealed in Arizona's ear. "She's so close to being officially ours."

"I can't believe that we're so close to being her mommies officially and legally." Arizona gasped. "It feels like a dream. Like if someone pinches me I'm going to wake up. Ow! Mark! I didn't actually want someone to pinch me!" Arizona whined causing Addison to laugh.

"Tell Mark that if he pinches my wife again I'll slap him." Addison chuckled. "But I know what you mean, it really does feel like a dream."

"Do I need to come over and pinch you too, Red?" Mark yelled into the phone in an amused voice.

"Only if you want me to slap you." Addison retorted.

"What if I just come over and don't pinch you?" Mark suggested as he took the phone out of Arizona's hand and held it up to his year.

"Aren't you working?" Addison asked.

"Technically, but as chief I have the ability of delegating my responsibilities and I tend to do things the Webber way: leaving all major decisions to Bailey." Mark explained. "Come on, I'm bored and I miss my buddy. This place isn't nearly as exciting without Mer."

"Well she's napping right now, but she should be waking up for lunch in about half an hour." Addison sighed. "I still don't think you should just up and leave the hospital in the middle of the day."

"Addie, he's already gone, my love." Arizona laughed. "He handed me the phone and told me to let you know that he was stopping at McDonald's and then he would be over."

"Sometimes I really wonder how the hospital hasn't burst into spontaneous flames with him in charge, but then I remember that Bailey is practically the one running that place." Addison chuckled.

"Honestly, he doesn't give himself enough credit. He's been a pretty great chief." Arizona admitted. "Bailey does help him out like she did Richard, but in all seriousness Mark has things running much smoother than Richard ever did. It's why no one bats an eye when he leaves in the middle of the day, we all know that if anything goes wrong that one page and he'll be back and until then, we all just go to Bailey." She laughed.

"Meanwhile when Richard was chief nothing was ever running smoothly enough for anyone to be confident if Richard was off hospital grounds." Addison added as Arizona's pager went off, the blonde cursing under her breath. "You have to go?"

"Yeah, 911 on one of my patients." Arizona sighed. "I love you!" She quickly added before ending the call before Addison could reply.

"I love you too." Addison smiled as she looked at her phone.

"Wub mama." Meredith sleepily mumbled from the couch, her eyes still closed.

"I love you too bunny." Addison chuckled as she bent down and kissed the little blonde's head, causing a sleepy smile to spread across Meredith's face.

"Milkies?" Meredith asked as she slowly opened her eyes.

"Yup, and then Mark's coming over and he's bringing McDonald's!" Addison excitedly told Meredith as she sat down on the couch, adjusting her shirt and getting the little blonde settled on her lap.
