It was few minutes before the first lecture would start. Shehnaaz was finding a book in the library when suddenly a guy came to her.

"Shehnaaz!" Said the guy in a low voice to which Shehnaaz looked at him and he waved at her.

"Me?" She asked pointing towards herself while the guy nodded in yes and indicated her to come closer.

Shehnaaz went to him frowning a little.

"Kya baat hai! Raj, college ka woh ladka jo kisi ko bhaav nahi deta woh aaj mujhse baat kar raha hai. Strange!" She said dramatically.

"Actually woh... Mujhe na tumhari help chahiye thi..." Said Raj hesitantly.

"Sorry but studies mein main tumhari koi help nahi kar sakti. I guess you are much more intelligent than me."

"Arrey woh baat nahi hai. It's.... It's about Rittika."

Shehnaaz became confused hearing Rittika's name.

"She is your friend, right?" Asked Raj further.

"Yeah... So what?"

"Actually... I like her..."

Shehnaaz widened her eyes and was about to scream, "WHAT THE....."

Others in the library immediately looked at her realising which Shehnaaz lower her voice.

"Yeh tum kya bol rahe ho? You really like Rittika?" She asked whispering to which Raj nodded in yes.

"Lekin yeh hua kaise? Jaha tak humein pata hai tumne toh kabhi hi hello bhi nahi bola hoga usko. Aur abhi tum suddenly bol rahe ho ki tum usse like karte ho?"

Raj smiled blushingly and said, "Woh kya hai na, main college ke first year se hi Rittika ko like karta hoon. Usse approach karne se mujhe thoda darr lagta hai isliye usse avoid karta tha. But abhi humari graduation complete hone wali hai. I thought alag hone se pehle usko apne dil ki baat bol du. I don't know aise directly jaa ke propose karunga toh kaise react karegi. Isliye laga pehle uske kisi friend se baat kar liya jaaye. What do you think? Does she like me?"

"Like? Bro she is your fan. Woh kab se tumhe social media pe follow karti hai. You were her first crush. But college mein tumne uss se kabhi baat tak nahi kiyi isliye bechari ko umeed hi nahi rahi. Aur uske baad woh pagal Abhi......"

Shehnaaz bit her tongue and then said, "Woh chhoro. Tum sach mein usse pasand karte ho? Time pass ke liye toh nahi hai na yeh sab?"

Raj shook his head negatively and said, "I swear. Sirf pasand hi nahi, pyaar karta hoon main uss se. Mujhe usse propose karna hai. Will you help me?"

Shehnaaz nodded in yes and said, "Of course karungi. I'm her bestfriend. Ek kaam karo, saamne uska birthday hai. Birthday ke din usse propose kar do. Bilkool filmy tarike se karna, tabhi uska dil jeet paaoge. Because apni Rittika bhi thodi filmy shilmy hai."

"Kya baat kar rahi ho?" Asked Raj with disbelief. "Mujhe toh woh bohut serious type ki lagti hai. Pura din bas padhti rehti hai aur kam baat karti hai bohut."

"Haan woh bahar se thodi khadoos dikhti hai but andar se alag hi item hai. Sirf humein yeh baat pata hai. Tum mere saath raho, dheere dheere sab bata dungi uske baare mein."

Said Shehnaaz making Raj happy and they started walking together while talking about Rittika.

When they came out of the library together, Sidharth saw them and misunderstood the situation. He felt a pang of jealousy thinking that Shehnaaz was hanging out with some other guy.
